Gorgeous view

Nice place with beautiful views
Posted Sep. 17, 2024 on HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay at this property, however there were some things that we weren’t happy with. We could not get the fireplace to work, the living room furniture was terribly terribly uncomfortable and the TV was very hard to figure out! The thing that makes this place worth staying at is the location and amazing views. The view made the other things tolerable.

Broken amenities
Posted Sep. 3, 2024 on HomeAway I stayed here last year and the top three things that brought me back were 1. Location 2. Watching sunset from the hot tub every night 3. Enjoying the deck with the fire pit at night.
The Hot tub was broken. Called management and someone came out and said it’s been broken for awhile.
Fire pit was not working, said it was broken.
The Title of this listing has “with hot tub” in it. They should have informed us prior to our stay that these items weren’t working. There are many rentals with a great location we could have gone to but I wanted the experiences of the hottub and fire pit for three nights as I had last year.
VERY DISAPPOINTING.
Also when we called within an hour of getting there ( because we checked right away on hot tub) they sent someone the next day and while she called her manager, she (the manager) said well it’s broken what do they want us to do. She was very rude.
We own a rental and I would want to know about this. Hopefully the owners will see this and address the broken items and offer some sort of a refund.
If the items listed in the description are in working order, then this place is worth it, but when there are only a few amenities listed, they need to be in working order.

Do Not Stay Here!

*The property had not been cleaned… I’m talking hair all over the bathroom. Vacasa sent someone out on day 2 but they did not clean the bathroom again.
* The hot tub was cold and controls were locked.It was unusable our whole 3 day stay.
I finally got refunds for cleaning (partial) and hot tub but it took alot of pressing on my part.

Nice property, but lacking advertised features
Posted Aug. 22, 2024 on HomeAwayThis was a well decorated beachfront property that looked fabulous online, but discovered that advertised washer and dryer were locked in a closet and not accessible. Likewise Internet and TV were non-accessible. A prior renter had pulled out a dead battery from the smoke alarm apparently because it was chirping/beeping and left it on a door trim…but management never replaced the battery. Likewise battery-run clocks in the living room and kitchen had dead batteries and were non-functional. The coffee filters in the cabinet were for a different coffee maker. Icing room carpet was also pretty dirty and needed a cleaning. It would have been a nice stay but these items really negatively impacted our stay.

Initially looks amazing, until you look closely
Posted Nov. 11, 2023 on HomeAwayWe checked in after 4 pm as indicated. From the initial appearance (it was getting later in day, curtains drawn, and wanted to walk to beach, looked nice.
When we got back we had bought some groceries to cook dinner (restaurants are 15-20 min) all the dishes needed washed before use including glasses (for wine), utensils, plates, and pots. Made tacos for ease. There was no cheese grater. Also, all the places I have stayed the guests before usually leave the spices, oils, basic cooking items, sugar, coffee etc. we suspect the housekeeping or owners take the left over items (I know a lot of people who do this and they leave these items as well), so we needed to get basic items like oil, salt as well. No big deal, but just know.
The broken wine glass was left in the cupboard. Everything has a sticky feel. I hand washed everything. The back of the kitchen faucet (wouldn’t be able to see it), had something sticky like jam on it.
The house had a distinct odor. We weren’t sure of what it was until my husband had started getting breathing issues and eyes watering and closing, and severe chest tightness. It had to be cats. He is severely allergic: we had to buy and inhaler and congestion allergy items. I messaged the (“if you have questions”, and explained the situation, sent a copy of receipt), and then the games began of not receiving receipt. Limited space, the carpet is stained cobwebs, dirty stained towels and pillows, dorcations caked with dust. See my google for pics
