Multi Family Beach Vacation

Nice large house

The hot tub really needs to be replaced, someone had set it at 107 degrees, luckily I own one and got it to a proper temperature! The house was ok for cleanliness but we found the oven with dirty foil and the basement apartment not to clean! The pool guy stopped and was very nice and offered to come back later!

2024 Family Vacation
Publié le 12 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was not within close proximity to the beach plus there was no beach equipment eg. chairs, umbrellas or coolers. The hot tub needs to be replaced as well as many of the major appliances eg. stove, refrigerator (we never had enough ice for drinks etc.) the house was loaded with cockroaches and the flies were terrible. They were at the pool and in the house , very annoying. Would not rent again!

Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay at Wine and Roses recently. We do our best to establish clear expectations regarding the offered services/amenities, and are always a message or phone call away regarding additional concerns. (Our public history of reviews well-reflects this.) We do not claim direct access to the beach, and as an additional courtesy provide a golf cart free for use during your stay, with pre-paid parking included.
I see there is a concern regarding appliances and in particular because insufficient ice available. As you know, we have two kitchens, each of which contains a refrigerator & freezer. The upper level contains an automatic icemaker. The lower level has a freezer with ice trays if additional ice capacity is required.
I am sorry you experienced the problem with insects this week. I suspect hurricane Debby and other excessive rainfall the last couple weeks exacerbated the issue. Having said that we have four rental properties on the island and as such take advantage of an excellent reputation of pest control. Our pest control provider is certainly aware of insect populations on an island and makes very regular routine visits. Having said that, if additional pest control is required, we always offer an additional immediate visit. As you know, this was offered to and declined by you.

Perfect for extended family stay
Publié le 26 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house suited our needs perfectly with (in additon to 2 additional bedrooms) THREE on suite master bedrooms AND a private apartment. The pool was the icing on the cake. Our hosts were lovely and accessible. Highly recommend.

June stay at Wine & Roses
Publié le 19 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayMy extended family and I had a great time staying at this house. Exactly like the pictures. The heated pool was a favorite. The short drive to the beach was not bad. Plenty of parking. Larry was very responsive to messages.
