We're happy that Stephanie and company enjoyed Bass Lake Log Home! We do take cleanliness very, very seriously, so we'd like to address the comment about soiled sheets. In fact, our vacation homes are some of the only ones in the Yosemite area to use professionally laundered linens. All linens are professionally serviced for each and every reservation. The linens are washed in commercial grade washers with stronger hypoallergenic detergent than you would find in a residential washer. All linens are then pressed with an iron at 300° F, vs. a standard home dryer that only reaches 160°. You are not likely to find this level of service in other vacation homes. On occasion, sheets can get singed during this high heat ironing process, leaving a yellowish stain on the white sheet. While we try to catch these and replace them as we make beds, unfortunately they are light enough that sometimes they're missed. I suspect that this is what these guests noticed. All linens at our homes are removed and replaced using fresh, folded bundles delivered by the linen supply company, every time. We never leave linens from a previous stay in the home, even if they weren't used.
