2024 Family Bass Lake Trip
Highly recommend. All aspects of the venue were simply excellent. It was organized, exceptionally cleaned, attention to details of kitchen items needed; spacious, thoughtful extras provided, and comfortable beds/living space areas. The grounds were beautiful and the creek/gazebo areas were very relaxing. Near recreation areas. Our only regret was not staying longer. Be sure to bring your bug repellent for outdoor. Plan on returning. Many great memories.

What a beauty of a property!!
From the moment we walked into the rental, we were blown away by the welcoming details that Shannon and Steve left for us! They had a warm fire going for us when we arrived as well as relaxing music. What a touch!! In addition, they went above and behind by leaving Easter eggs and treats for the kids (we were there in Easter day). No other host had ever been this thoughful! Thank you Shannon and Steve! The rental was beautiful and well organized. We felt right at home during our vacation. They had all of the supplies we could need. The home is well planned out and made our stay so easy. The backyard was amazing. There was a lot for our family to do. We played volleyball, soccer, and spent hours at the beautiful creek. We had dinner outside on a couple of nights and it was magical. I would give Shannon and Steve 100 stars if I could! Don't think twice and book this amazing home today :)

Cozy Cabin
This place is a gem, very cozy with everything you need. Property was super clean, beds and pillows super comfy and fresh linens. Everything carefully thought out. Plenty of firewood provided and the ambiance set upon our arrival. Easy communication. About an hour and 20 to Yosemite Valley. Thanks again for the lovey stay.

LOVED IT!!
This was a perfect spot for our weekend getaway. The house was nice and warm with a fire waiting for us as we arrived and the host added complimentary touches that made us feel very welcomed. We enjoyed time by the creek and of course the hot tub in the cold weather. It was a beautiful place to return to after adventures on trails and the snow. We loved it and hope to return in the future.

It was one of the top five cottages that we ever have stayed in. Shannon and Steve were awesome. very helpful, very accommodating. All the little touches didn't go unnoticed. The grandkids and dog especially loved the backyard and stream. The treadmill and jacuzzi was a plus to. The house was incredible. This was a home away from home. This place is a must to stay in. We will be back again.

This was such a beautiful home inside and out. Very welcoming and just so thoughtful on all the amenities provided. I loved that it was dog friendly as well. Spacious for your fury family to run around. I would love to return to this space in the future.

Excellent Stay
Overall this stay was excellent. The house and property itself were clean and well apportioned and the yard was huge. That alone would have been enough for a 5 star review. But what pushed it into the best stay I’ve had through VBRO was a fire going when we got to the house, with a pie waiting in the fridge. What homey touches! All around thank you for such a great place to stay for Thanksgiving.

We went here with our family for my daughter-in-law‘s family birthday weekend - 5 adults and the 3 grandkids (7, 4 and 1)The photos can’t begin to describe the rental. The owners were super thoughtful and communicative to ensure our stay was a 10+, and it was! The home was very clean, well-stocked with utensils and spices, and the owners even left us a bottle of wine and snacks to welcome us. The yard is a dream come true on Nelder Creek. The house is close to Yosemite and Bass Lake, and we visited both during our stay. We had a wonderful time!

This is an amazing property. The workmanship on the remodeling was great and the decorative touches matched. It is quality thru and thru and the little added touches made for a great time. All the extras in the yard make it hard to leave to go see Yosemite which was the reason you came to begin with. You will enjoy your stay here.

Great place for Bass Lake and Yosemite vacation.
Nice secluded cabin that is very comfortable. Short drive to Bass Lake and easy access to Yosemite. Our party had 10 people and we were very comfortable. Beautiful backyard and creek running in the back of the property. Would highly recommend and will be bringing my family back soon.

Our new favorite getaway
Beautiful house with soft linens, comfortable furniture, a wonderful blend of mountain and traditional decor, and an awesome kitchen with nice appliances. We arrived to the coziest setup and never left the property the whole weekend. So many nice touches and hospitable details. We loved our stay so much that we booked another weekend while sitting on the deck. The property is huge and our dogs couldn’t believe their luck. Nedler Creek Cottage is our new go-to getaway.

Cozy Cottage by the Creek
The Cottage is definitely bigger than what we thought. A pleasant surprise! It is beautifully decorated & has all the touches of a rustic, woodsy, up-to-date cabin look. Each room had comfy beds & the sheets smelled fresh & amazing! Shannon & Steve did a spectacular job on this cottage. Every inch of it is beautifully done. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots & pans & everything one could need or want. The special touches that were left for our arrival made us feel like special guests. Wonderful cabin!
If I could give this property 10 stars I would! This cabin was just perfect! So nice inside and out! And the wood stove was fabulous after our hike in the snow at nearby Yosemite. We are already thinking of our next trip to the area and will definitely choose this cabin again. The hosts/owners couldn’t have been nicer!

Awesome property!! Deer in the backyard welcomed us, along with a bottle of wine & a basket of goodies from the hosts! Very relaxing to go sit in the gazebo & by the creek, listening to the water run! Super cozy inside, with a woodburning stove to curl up by & watch movies! Beautiful home with a creek in the back
We came up from Los Angeles. We decided on this home because it was conveniently close enough to both Bass Lake and Yosemite. Both the owners (SHANNON and STEVE) came by to make sure we were properly situated when we checked in. This home is brand new to the market and everything is brand new. The rooms were clean and well kept, the fire place was gorgeous and fully stocked with wood and there was a downstairs area that added a massive amount of additional space to the home. This house is dog friendly! It has a massive back yard and a creek for him to run around any play. Would definitely highly recommend staying here and will happy come back and stay here again in the future.
