Inside the property was clean and welcoming. The staff were responsive and helpful. The surrounding area was next to an unhoused camp and the process for entering and exiting the parking lot was minimally safe especially for the $20 a day parking charge.

Perfect, we always stay here when we come to Oakland, this is a nice hotel. It is clean, the rooms are good size, the towels are fresh and not stiff and hard, as the bedding is for beds are not itchy and comfortable. The staff is polite and knowledgeable. We always have a parking and I feel safe knowing that there is security in the parking lot. There is a food court down the street. And the patio area has a ring fireplace. Overall perfect hotel for us!!
