Lovely Stay

My sister, daughter and I were in wow mode from the moment we walked in the door. The pictures on line did not do justice to the "Million Dollar View" description. The place was very clean, inviting, accommodating and beautiful! Appliances were very updated and snacks and treats were also left on the counter for us. Owner thought of everything to make this as pleasant as it was for us. We will definitely return again. Thank you

Has Potential….

This property has potential, but as so many have already stated there is a lack of responsibility by owners to make any changes. The inside is clean and comfortable, however the windows are filthy and outside grounds need much attention and deck is filthy. One bed has full mattress on a queen box spring making it very uncomfortable and easy to roll off. There are no curtains on some of the bedroom windows, and the ones that have curtains are so thin and light they do not keep the light out from the constant motion light going on and off ALL NIGHT. Many lights inside do not work- especially downstairs. We had to use our phone light to navigate to the bedroom when coming downstairs at night. The downstairs shower leaks all over the place making a slippery mess! During our second day, the ring security alarm and smoke detectors started going off. We were unable to silence them so called Vacassa management - they didn’t have the code and were also unable to silence it. It forced us to bring everyone outside- including my handicapped father and severely handicapped autistic stepbrother, who was freaking out by the noice. An hour later a maintenance person finally showed up and removed the alarms. Now we had no smoke or fire alarms upstairs. About 1am that night an alarm was going off, now downstairs. It was a low battery alarm . We got up and removed that battery. Half hour later another alarm. Took us 20 min to find the alarm on shelf. No effort to compensate was off

Great View and Location

House had a great view! Directly on the water. Good location close to all the main attractions. Kitchen was very spacious too. Areas of opportunity: The WiFi internet connection wasn’t good. Also it felt like every time we were outside we were being watched & recorded by the Ring cameras. Overall, we had a good experience.

A Breathtaking View

We absolutely loved this beautiful home & the view was breathtaking! The steep driveway not so much but that would not keep us from staying there again. It was perfect for our dogs with the fenced/gated area for them. Wish we could afford this place in the spring/summer!! Loved it all!!!

Wasted Potential

The view is amazing (after we cleaned the glass), the home is nicely laid out, the furniture is mostly comfortable, and the location to the sights in the area is fantastic. The owner has not taken care to correct many issues mentioned in previous reviews. And they aren't things that would require a lot of effort and money - but it seems consideration for their guests is not the highest priority. The bed with the wrong sized box spring is still there. To me, this is egregious as it makes the bed nearly impossible to sleep in without one person rolling off. It's not that difficult to buy a queen sized box spring for a queen sized bed. The wifi is atrocious and shouldn't be listed as an amenity. The pictures are misleading as they have now locked off the game room on the lower floor. I expect owners to have private spaces but a locked up fridge, closet, and two bedrooms is overkill. The door in the master bedroom has a broken lock to the deck and won't open. Cleanliness is the real issue. We found rat droppings under the kitchen sink, in the laundry room and in the bedroom with no curtains (oh yeah, both bedrooms on the lower floor were blinded throughout the night by motion sensor flood lights triggered by squirrels). The cleaning service was quick to respond but didn't actually clean the mess up. There were still droppings behind after they 'cleaned'. The whole home is obviously just spot cleaned between guests. Definitely wasted potential because it could be stunning.

minor issues

1) Downstair shower leaks at hinge side of door was unable to use had to use the 2nd shower . 2) Clogged dryer vent completely clogged -- we put a load of towels in the Dryer one day and left to go to the store -- when returned - items were still damp - that is when we found the vent issue and cat hair could not be completely removed . 3) Cat hair was everywhere - on Couch both upstairs and down and in the bed --- 4) on the upper deck there is a board that needs replacement ( to avoid future issues ) 5) Trask was not picked up since last tenant ALL are Minor the home is absolutely awesome - and we are planning on coming back next year - Thanks you
