There was nothing I did not like about my room except that the windows were dirty, so it was hard to take a picture of the view. I booked my reservations through Expedia. I called the hotel the day before to confirm my reservation to be told I did not have one. I then called expedia and their customer service rep also told me that I had no reservation. I then got online an booked and paid for a reservation at a higher cost than before. The first reservation was book now pay later. I checked into the hotel and was told that I had booked two reservations and because I had paid for one I could not get the lower price. I would also have to call Expedia to cancel the first reservation so that I would not be charged for a "no-show". This was a hassle and no one was very accommodating. I was fortunately, able to cancel the first reservation without being charged a fee. I have been using Expedia for years but I probably won't be using them anymore.

It was very nice, it’s just that all around the properties were signs saying there are often car break ins. That was concerning, but we parked in a garage so we had no problem.

The location can’t be beat for walking distance to Jack London, Chinatown or a BART station. The hotels amenities from the valet, front desk, restaurant and overall attention to room aesthetics is outstanding. Quality top to bottom. Would stay here anytime I need to be close to DT OAK.
