Won’t stay again.
Publié le 24 août 2024 sur HotelsBesides the front desk clerk being sweet, there wasn’t much positive I can say about our stay. I slept on top of the covers with a blanket I brought on our trip because the sheets were pilled and scratchy. No air was on when we arrived and even by the morning it wasn’t cold in the room. Also, there was a terrible smell (smelled like manure) outside which they couldn’t control obviously but just fyi if you want to enjoy the pool outside. They had redone the bathroom tile but it had mold around the bottom of the shower stall. Breakfast, we didn’t attempt, we just left as soon as possible. If the room had only been $60 I would have been fine because I would have gotten what I paid for but for $105 I expected more especially after all the rave reviews.

Room was clean and roomy. Bonus for us was the walk-in shower.

Excellent staff. Great Breakfast. Older motel but very well maintained. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. Easy parking and access to rooms.

Check in was good with efficient young person and you get a real key, not electronic card. This is a two story older motel with a walkway over the 1st floor sidewalk. If you get first floor it is the typical park in front of you room, which is very convenient, especially if you have bikes. The place appears to have been remodeled with paint in good condition and maintenance has been done well. No screens on doors & flies are common, but not serious problem.
It is 2 miles from interstate 70. Pizza Hut and Sonic not too far away. Pool is out side with no privacy fence and by the parking lot.
Excellent hot breakfast with biscuits and gravy, waffle machine and other choices. Ned’s are comfortable enough but not new.mTV is small by todays standards.
