Avis HOLT - Villa Noria ∆ La Casa del Barro Verde

Outstanding experience. Super clean and functional and beautiful. So many gorgeous spaces to spread out both indoor and outdoor. Bedrooms were spacious with places to sit and read quietly. Dining room was out eating space during the daytime and board game hangout in evening. Rooftop is a dream space with sauna and massive grill, great views for birding and listening to music.

Nicest vrbo / abnb I’ve ever stayed in. It was like having a 5-6 bedroom hotel all to your self. Excellent job on communications and follow up. Linens, beds, accommodations, set up, outdoor living etc, ALL 5 STAR rating and I’m picky! I’ll be back

The property is lovely and well appointed. The bedrooms provide sanctuary if one wants to be alone, and the house includes lots of indoor and outdoor spaces for gathering with groups. The property management team is thoroughly professional and amazingly responsive to every request. We took advantage of the in-house chef on two occassions; the meals were not only delicious but beautifully presented. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone traveling to Oaxaca.

This property was everything we expected, and impeccably clean. Check-in was easy and the house was spacious with 8 bedrooms and a private bath for nearly every bedroom. When you enter the house there is a ground level courtyard with a ping pong table. The entire adjacent first floor consists of 2 bedrooms, a bunk room, several bathrooms and a separate living area. This would be perfect for families traveling with children and a nanny as the space is separate from the main living areas by one floor. The second floor is where the main dining room and living room are, along with a second courtyard off the kitchen. There is a main house bathroom and a separate bedroom/bathroom on this floor as well as very small bedroom with no en suite. I would not consider this bedroom in a sleeping plan, so unless this room were for a child, I would suggest this is a 7-bedroom house. On the third floor there are 3 large suites with private bathrooms, one has a balcony, one has a seating area, and one has a soaking tub. All are about equal and any of them could serve as a Master bedroom. The fourth floor has a spacious rooftop deck and outdoor kitchen and hot tub. The hot tub was not filled when we were there, and we did not inquire about the rules of use as we did not intend to use it. It was not a problem. We actually used the outdoor kitchen for snacks and drinks while we spent time on the rooftop deck. It was very convenient. The house itself was quite beautiful, but perhaps the best part was the hospitality of our host who coordinated rides to and from the airport, tours of the archaeological attractions, and a mezcal tour for us. These services were invaluable as we did not have a car and could not have easily done this ourselves. I would book with HOLT in the future simply for the extra amenities and responsiveness the host team provides. They went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. The only drawback to this property is that it is not very close to the cultural attractions and best restaurants, so each outing did require a taxi. It is about a 30 minute walk otherwise. There were 5 of us and we could fit into one taxi, but if you had a large group and did not have a car, you would need to hail two taxis. They are only about 100 pesos and not at all expensive, but something to consider. You cannot just step outside and grab a quick coffee, so taking advantage of the grocery service is a valuable amenity. Overall a great place!

Absolutely stunning property. The management made themselves regularly available for all our needs. Was absolutely perfect for my group of 10 and all my clients loved the house. I super appreciate everything holt and Elizabeth did for us. They exceeded all expectations.

Nuestra estadía en la villa Noria fue estupenda. La propiedad se encuentra en una área super tranquila en el centro de la ciudad, fue muy facil caminar a todos lados. Mi familia y yo nos la pasamos muy cómodos: La casa tiene tres pisos con 8 cuartos en total. Las habitaciones son muy amplias y cuantan con baños incorporados lo cual es un gran extra, ya que cada quien tenia su propio baño . Las camas son grandes y cómodas. El lugar estaba muy limpio cuando llegamos, lo cual es algo muy importante actualmente. Además, nos encantó que tiene un techo que esta equipado con un jacuzzi, parrilla, mesa de ping pong, y mesas para poder comer fuera. Todo fue mucho mejor de lo que imaginamos y quedamos muy sorprendidos de todo lo que ofrece la propiedad. El staff de HOLT nos ayudo mucho con todas nuestras dudas y nos dieron recomendaciones sobre que hacer en la ciudad. Estuvieron en contacto con nosotros para asegurar que todo estaba bien. Definitivamente, el mejor lugar en el que nos hemos hospedado en Oaxaca. No puedo esperar a volver!
