The pool area was pleasant looking, but my bed was too hard for me. Very, very noisy early in the morning. After two sleepless nights I changed hotels. 20 minute walk from where most tour groups pick you up, the location was not very convenient, or close to the areas I was interested in. No reception after 11:00. The area surrounding the hotel probably looks more unsafe than it is, I did walk alone at night to find something to eat. Room was clean, but the windows were dirty. Rather depressing. Unpleasant exchange with the staff over my request to change rooms for a softer bed. Preferred to lose my money and check out rather than have the hard bed and the unpleasant staff ruin my entire vacation.
Lovely property within walking distance to center and neighborhoods. Enjoyed the pool area and the breakfast on the terrace daily.
Only negative is the mattresses are hard…like sleeping on the ground hard. They gave me an extra blanket folded in half to go under the sheets and that solved the problem. I felt guilty letting the shower run a few minutes to get hot knowing there is a water shortage.
Housekeeping excellent. Would stay again.
The place is well located, the pool is great, and the whole place has a cool 70s vibe. Staff is very accommodating. Only issues: pillows are too thick and hard, and free breakfast tended to be overcooked and dry.
This hotel is clean, safe and in a good location. Walkable from the bus station and far enough away from the very centre of the city but a short safe walk. Breakfast is adequate and served on a lovely terrace. The common areas and pool are nice. I think it provides good value. My only negative comment is that the front desk staff are not very friendly. They are polite, but not overly helpful. One wonders why they are working in the hospitality sector.
First time in Oaxaca, hotel personnel service was fairly good. Kitchen staff friendly provided great customer service, food selection for breakfast was fair with good flavors.
Beautiful property with a comfortable room. The staff was knowledgable, helpful and friendly. Checking in and out was quick and efficient. Loved eating breakfast on the terrace each morning; the breakfasts were delicious and varied daily. The pool was perfect as well, a beautifully manicured garden area to relax at. Great location to centro plus restaurants and walking distance to other areas of the city. We asked for a map upon arrival and the one provided took us everywhere we wanted to go. Would definitely stay there again. Very reasonably priced.
I love the quietness of the property and close to everything I wanted to see. The staff was nice but a bit too quiet. Their breakfast could you use a little more yo choose from.
They had hot water for tea in the lobby each evening. Most of the staff were lovely and it was a great quiet location near to everything in the Centro Histórico.
Very nice staff, easy checkin, rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast included, beautiful pool and grounds. Hotel us good walking distance to many shops, cafes, and markets.
The bed was less than comfortable however.
Not one to usually write a bad review but the bed meant both my wife and I had a terrible nights sleep every night, it was so bouncy that any movement from either of us woke the other. The air con was very noisy as well. The 5-10 mins for water to heat feels like a waste of water and ended up having cold shower anyway. We came back one evening and asked whether a drink was available, they insisted on having the money in cash that evening and wouldn’t put it to the room, as we didn’t have cash at the time we had to just leave it.
Overall it’s a cute hotel, which is well located but can’t stand having a bad sleep.

The property was extremely clean but the staff was a bit COLD and I felt that they did not want to help the guests.
Despite that they were pleasant and the place was very clean.
Beautiful hotel with oasis like pool. Breakfast was included and was delicious and was served in an upstairs patio overlooking the pool. Super convenient location and walkable to many of Oaxaca’s famous neighborhoods. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
