Happy to be back at Mammhofer and Oberammergau
We’ve been here 5 times, last 3 at Mammhofer. Close to everything we want to visit, easy go anywhere in town just walking. Excellent care and attention of the owner. It is like visit friends. I think that if we comeback to the same place and plan to return next time means more than many positive words We can write or say.

Lovely property. Room included a sitting area, so plenty of space. Breakfast was very good, with eggs cooked to order. Location was perfect for walking around. Parking was tight, but we managed. Would stay again!

A very nice and quiet place a block away from the main area of beautiful Oberammergau. The room was extremely comfortable (and big!), breakfast was delicious. We''d love to get back to Oberammergau, and would be happy to stay here, again.

A wonderful gem we discovered for a last minute weekend stay, early September. Highly recommended for it's location, within walking distance to restaurants & downtown. Free onsite parking and great staff with the perfect amount of attention & privacy. We hope to come back!

Was only able to stay one night, but I would definitely return again. The facility is extremely clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the room was very large.

Very nice. Did not see anyone who worked there except at breakfast. Good breakfast but would have been better to have an option for regular brewed coffee instead of the machine coffee. Overall, a lovely place.

Amazing place and has been in same fMily run business for multiple decades. Josef was accommodating and kind and the beeakfast was proper and lovely. We will be back!

Oberammagau in Autumn
Would have preferred a 1st floor room rather than ground floor as it was noisy during the day but as it is a quiet town it was not a problem at night. The room was clean, and cleaned on a daily basis but the settee although was dusted the arms were only dusted to the point of the back rest where the arm continued further back it was still dusty?!

We booked this hotel based on a good rating in the area - we were traveling with my wife and had to make a stop for a night. We loved the place and the owner - everything was super neat and our stay was very pleasant. We had everything we needed - spacious and clean room, good breakfast, parking on site. Views are amazing! I would highly recommend the hotel - a very good vibe and a country-style stay.
