Publié le 29 juill. 2016 sur HomeAwayUne maison agréable en plein centre de Obidos. Si, en journée, on peut craindre la foule des touristes, on a la ville pour soi en matinée et fin de journée. Une occasion de retrouver la ville comme elle était.
La maison est propre et la proprio super sympa! Il y a de la place pour 3 personnes. Accès en voiture possible, mais délicat vu l’étroitesse des ruelles.

Magnifique séjour
Publié le 21 juin 2016 sur HomeAwayLes 4 jours passés à Obidos ont été trés agréables,le village est magnifique.L'acceuil de Gabriela a été parfait ,elle est une hôtesse de premier choix! Nous recommandons vivement le séjour dans sa maison au coeur du village.

Could not have been more perfect!

The picturesque rental offers the perfect antidote to the daily crowds by providing a wonderful opportunity to experience the town before and after business hours, or offering a comfortable base to explore nearby towns and the surrounding countryside. It really is a home away from home and as soon as we entered the place we wished we were staying more than 1 night. The rental provided us with a most memorable stay, thank you Maria!

Charming Home

One night stay inside the castle walls
Publié le 29 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayPleasant experience! Nice cottage. Only downside was the walk up the hill on the cobblestones pulling suitcases. But no broken wheels, so it was a success!

Oh my God, thought you had followed my directions concerning where to park and, from the parking, how to reach the house!! From that free car parking till the house the route is completely flat and the main street even has an area of smoth stones where it is easy to slide the wheels of your luggage!
I wish everyone continued great holidays in my country - you will always be very welcome back!

Publié le 22 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect place to end our trip to Portugal on! Wish we had more time there. We were grateful to have the opportunity to experience Obidos at its quietest; and thankful the church bells do no begin ringing until 9 am. :)
The beds were very comfortable and the cottage is very well appointed.
A magical place- loved every minute!

Short stay
Publié le 26 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great start. I mistakenly booked the wrong date and the host quickly accommodated.
Unfortunately after our stay it was the complete opposite. The host has made false accusations albeit this is unclear because of the language differences and this is currently under investigation.

Despite all the hostess's efforts to resolve all situations, there was a clear and undue illicit abuse of the facilities as duly proven, which is greatly regretted.

The host Gabriel is outstanding and very responsive as well gave us tips on parking. The charming and quaint cottage is inside Obidos castle. It’s a picturesque town and you can walk around and get spectacular views. We enjoyed the Capinha bakery especially their coconut orange and sweet potato raisin cookies. They bake delicious brioche bread as well. The Filligree museum was very interesting too.
