Time to reconnect as a family.
Cabin has some much stuff, to start off they had every appliance known to man. It was really fun from relaxing in the hot tub to going on the canoe or kayak or making s’mores at night. super fun. It was nice just being with family..

The best lakehouse
We came to the area to celebrate a family members 90th birthday and loved this house much we decided to book again. We only stayed for a weekend and didn’t get to take advantage of all that this house offers. Everything you could possibly need for a fun lake side getaway is in this house. The communication with Dave was amazing. Quick to respond and eager to share all the tidbits of information about the area. Book it, You’ll love it!

Beautiful Lakefront Getaway
Beautiful remote and peaceful lakefront home. The home had all of the kitchen gadgets you could need from Keurig coffee maker to a panini press. The views of the lake are gorgeous from the kitchen and family room. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing in the lake and then using the hot tub after a long day of visiting the nearby springs. The owner Dave was very accommodating and responsive. I highly recommend staying here.

Excellent lake house
We were in town for a horse show, so we didn't have much time to take advantage of the lake. Nevertheless, the house and property are both very nice. It was about a 20 minute drive to Grand Oaks resort, not bad at all. The house is clean and seems recently updated. There is a very nice game room with pool table, dart board and shuffleboard. The host contact was extremely friendly and communicative, and offered lots of suggestions for things to do in the area.

Family fun and relaxation
This lake house was perfect for our stay. We were looking for a nice relaxing, family oriented place to stay and boy this is it!! The house was very clean when we arrived. Plenty of towels, sheets, pillows, everything you need is there, just bring some food and your clothes. The view is amazing. Kayaks, row boat, and canoe all at the dock on the lake. Fishing is also good from the dock or anywhere on the lake. The yard had horseshoes set up, a hammock, hot tub, and that’s not even talking about the pool table and gazillion games in the house. All the things listed and more. The beds were comfortable as well as the couches. The best part of the entire stay is the host. Dave is in contact with you from the moment you book your stay and makes himself available to you for any questions you have until you leave. He is amazing!! If you’re looking for a family place to go this is it. Or even if it’s just to get away from it all, this is your place. We will definitely be returning for another visit.

Lake House - work trip
Had a great stay at this Lake House! Many things to do in and around the house. Co-workers and I had a great time after we got off work each and every night we were here. Dock, kayaks, canoe, hot-tub, view from decks, game room, pool table, many other opportunities to just relax... Thank you!!!

Awesome adventure!
My sister lives in Ocala. We wanted to come to visit, being central Florida we were looking for a house that was more than just a house, we have 4 kids. This house had so much to keep the kids busy! They LOVED the game room! We went out in the boat on the lake! The house itself was equipped with everything you ever need! Spacious and cozy! We enjoyed the whole experience! The view is awesome! The property manager was very helpful and provided answers to all our questions! We definitely will be back to stay!!!

Stay at Cabin on the Lake - Ocala
We had a great time. The cabin had everything we needed. It was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities you would want. We had 5 adults and 2 children, ages 10 and 12. We spent a lot of time in the game room as well as enjoying the wonderful back porch/deck area with a great view of the lake. Hot tub was awesome. Made some great memories. We will definitely come back. Thanks Dave for making our stay very enjoyable.

Beautiful and serene!
My family had an amazing stay at this property. Our host was helpful, available and made sure we had everything we needed. The home is immaculately clean and nicely updated. We enjoyed the comfy beds, plush towels, game room, canoe and just swimming together off of the dock. It was a fun and peaceful way to reconnect. Would definitely stay again!

Family Favorite
We had a great stay at this rental. The renter really thought of everything to make this property an enjoyable stay for families, especially those with children. It was a very relaxing time with plenty of fun for all. Our kids really enjoyed swimming in the lake, Kayaking, and playing games in the game room. The renter was great at communication with us and went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. We look forward to staying at this property again!

Relaxing, laId back place
This home is in among the horse ranches and sits next to Lake Faye. A bit out of the way but just what we wanted. Enjoyed visiting near by Ocala state park springs, plenty of things to do at the house. The pool table, games, kayaks all makes for a great time. The beds we used were all comfortable. Dave was helpful and quick to answer any of our questions.

What a joke
Started with no one letting us know access instructions although I had tried to get them Had to contact vrbo to get access after waiting in driveway for long period of time. Very dirty and smelled of dogs. Pubic hair on two bed sheets so we had to wash before sleeping. Main couch completely broken and unusable. All couches smelled like dogs. Cobwebs everywhere. Several spiders visible during stay. Sand all over floors. If toaster and microwave ran at same time it would flip breaker. Coffee pot was filthy and had molded old filter in it. Top of fridge had 1/8 of dust on it. Bar stools seats are disgusting. Hot tub quit working and although owner said he would send someone to fix it for two days, no one ever showed up. Big disappointment to our kids there. Limited cell service even with WiFi. To top it off, I left a small item there by accident and very nicely ask if they would mail it to me. After saying yes, the owner didn’t mail it. After a couple weeks I began to follow up and then he blocked me so I couldn’t text or call him. Although the lake is great, the farm that the house is on is tacky and not well taken care of. Horses do like the carrots but its because there is nothing for them to eat in their pen, basically sand, and no hay seen fed to them all week. On a good note they have plenty of towels

Great place to getaway!
This is a great rental during COVID-19 if you want an all inclusive experience. There is plenty to do between bikes, kayaks, game room, etc. Its hidden away so definitely stock the kitchen when you arrive. But once you're settled in there is so much to do and plenty of space to hang out! Would definitely book this house again!

Beautiful Quiet Country Home
My husband and I had the best relaxing weekend. The home was spacious with everything you could ask for. Definently a home away from home feel. The hot tub was perfect to wind down in the evening and the lake as a backdrop is amazing. We explored the trails of Ocala National Forest on our Side by Side. Awesome!! If we would have stayed longer we would have went to the local Springs to swim with the manatees. Publix is about 20 mins away. So we stocked up the first night and never had to leave the house again! We bought a giant bag of carrots (that is still on the porch) to hand feed the horse that lives a short walk from the drive way. The horse is beautiful and learned quickly when he spotted me to gallop fast up to the fence for his daily treat! As far as the house, it's great. On the lake, away from the city, clean, fully stocked. David is great, always a text away. There is bikes, kayaks, row boats, life jackets, game room, board games... It's a perfect spot to take the family and get away.
