This was a very nice place to stay. We loved the location which was close to not only the boardwalk and beach, but pubs and shopping! The rooms were clean and neat. Staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The only drawback were the beds could be a little more comfy. If you enjoy a good night sleep on a more firm bed then this is your place!

Went during off season the weekend before Beerfest. Lobby is clean and quaint. Very clean parking lot to the elevator to the lobby to the floor landing and room. Efficiency with everything you need. Clean handicap bathroom. Balcony overlooking oceanfront make for very relaxing views. We kept the slider open the whole time to hear the ocean which was so loud you felt like you were on the beach. AC unit blew very cold air.
Metal roof over coconuts noisy when seagulls fought each other but hey, we were oceanside.
Furniture is aged and worn from beachtown air but very lovely, clean and quaint. Furniture also in good condition and comfortable. Refridgerator was a large size dorm fridge which was so cold it froze our bottles of water and fruit lol. Carpet very clean.
Very friendly lobby staff, bartender at Coconuts and housekeeping.
Very close to many restaurants such as Shenanigans, crab restaurant and within walking distance to ice cream and popcorn. Love that it is on the boardwalk.
I did see staff checking cars for parking tags which is a plus since some of the hotels do not have parking onsite. I can see how people would try to park there to gain access to the boardwalk.
We are definitely coming back!

2nd stay at this Hotel. Nice rooms with nice staff. Great Ocean Views on 6th Floor. Last year was same on 5th. floor. Party included disabled wheel chair user. Facility works well for visiting OC Boardwalk.

All the cushions on all the chairs were dirty. We stayed on the third floor and when you got off the elevator the two chairs were in very bad shape. The air conditioning vents were filthy in the hallways. That was scary. I also came home with a pretty severe eye infection. I don't know if that was the air quality or the pillowcases or towels. Also we road bike 2 days and they were in very bad shape too. But I felt the property used to be one of the best in Ocean City and now I feel that it's getting very run down. Pools were very nice though.

Hi Julie, Thanks for reviewing your recent stay at Park Place Hotel. We do hope that you advised the front desk staff of the issues that were of concern to you so, that they could be addressed. Also, we do laundry on a daily basis if your room doesn't have a "Do Not Disturb" sign on it to ensure that pillowcases, towels, sheets, etc. is done. The complimentary bikes are maintained and taken care of so, hopefully you advised us of the "bad shape" that you felt the were in. We are continuously doing upgrades throughout the hotel. Thank you,

Air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the night did not make for a good night sleep

The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel was quite nice. Great room. Great access to the boardwalk and beach.
