Beautiful location. Perfect for walking or driving around. Hotel room clean. Balcony with stunning view but not clean. Nice pool but some tile repair is Urgently needed

Restaurant and lounge closed, no daily room service, rundown, needs tons of TLC. Not the Shilo Inn we have stayed at in Ocean Shores of the past. Our room was not cleaned; we found previous guest’s food in the refrigerator. Rugs need cleaning. A hollow shell of the Shilo Inn Ocean Shores we have known in the past.

the windows were dirty and not from the outside or inside but inbetween the panes.. horrible.. carpets old!!! restaurant and lounge closed!!! the hallway was a freeway for kids running!!!! towels were thin and rough!!! tub didnt drain properly!!!... if this is a 7.00 rating we will certainly be watching what we book in the future.. nothing under 9 if this is how the rating system works

I liked how you can go into alot of shops around here and end up talking to owners for half an hour so friendly especially when they grew up close to your house in seattle.reminisce

Needs a lot of work/cleaning

We were informed by text, 90 minutes before we checked in, that the restaurant would not be open during our stay which is one reason we chose this hotel. The sign was falling off the building, so we think it had been closed for a long time. The room was fine and clean but the beds were incredibly hard. The hot tub jets were broken, the steam room only worked on one of the days and we never got the sauna to heat. Both the hot tub and pool were dirty and looked like they hadn't been properly cleaned in years with the amount of brown mildew/algae on the bottom and walls. The water was also cloudy which made me wonder if the filtration was working. The staff were helpful and friendly, but when we were asking about items to replenish what we'd used, the staff member casually mentioned that they were so low on supplies that staff often brought in stuff for the guests. That is horrible and no employee should ever have to do that!

Matress is too old and hard. Towels are small and old. Shower head could work better. The room stinks. Restaurant was closed for further notice. No upgrades were made for many years, the hotel is going downhill, but location is good.
