Azalea Cottage
Publié le 19 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe perfect place to stay in Ocean Springs! Great location in a cozy, well-equipped cottage. It was very clean and had everything we needed! The host checked in and made us feel welcome. Lots to do and great fun was had in this quaint coastal town. We’ll be back!

An Exceptional Stay
Publié le 13 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis home was in perfect location for a peaceful, quiet atmosphere while staying in, as well as a few minutes walk to the lively downtown Ocean Springs town. The host responded extremely quickly to all messages and was very helpful !!! WOULD DEFINITELY RETURN!!!

Great location & super clean
Publié le 7 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed at Azalea Cottage for a wedding. It was a wonderful stay. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic with all the boutiques and shops. I highly recommend the Lazy Oak across the street the food and loaded Bloody Mary was FANTASTIC! We also visited the Shed which was a wonderful experience & the BBQ was delicious. The only thing I would recommend is if you want to log in to any streaming services, bring your own Roku stick, the TVs are hooked to antenna boxes. Which is not a negative by any means, we weren’t there watching TV much anyway, just at night. The outside covered sitting areas are wonderful. Over all we had a great experience and plan to visit again to experience more of the food!

Hi Emma, thank you for the fantastic review! We appreciate you giving us five stars and sharing your experience while in Ocean Springs. The only thing I wanted to mention is that the tVs are Smart TVs and you can stream, it sounds like you were not in the right input, because you are able to log into your own Netflix, Hulu, etc accounts. We hope you come back and stay with us again sometime, and I’ll be sure to show you what input you need to be on in order to access those things.

Great location, house not comfortable
Publié le 27 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat location in downtown ocean springs. I bit loud with the trains nearby. Furniture was quite uncomfortable especially the couch. House didnt have any rugs on the floor. Also a strong chemical odor in laundry room, house and linens.

Hi Susan, thank you for mentioning the great location! Yes, the trains are something that both guests and residents have to deal with when being so close to the downtown area. The train literally goes right through the middle of town. I manage quite a few rentals in the area that are a lot closer to the train tracks than this one. You may have been the first to mention them at this property, as we are quite far from them compared to most vacation rentals in town.
If you want to stay anywhere on the Mississippi Gulf Coast near the beaches the train is something that you have to deal with. Thankfully most don't have an issue with it.
Sorry you didn't find the couch comfortable. No one has ever mentioned that before, but we know everyone's preferences are different.
We didn't have rugs on the floor being we are a pet friendly home.
Not sure what you mean about a strong chemical smell. Maybe cleaning products?
We have been a vacation rental for many years and have overwhelming 5-star reviews. No one has ever mentioned a chemical smell before, and there wasn't one when I was there the other day, so not sure what you mean by that.

Brand New Inside and Spotless

The location was great…we walked to dinner at Vestige (I highly recommend), and we especially liked that there was a bike rental place literally right across the street. The back porch was very pleasant for our morning coffee, and very shaded and private. It was also very easy to hop on and off route 90 when we wanted to venture out of town to Biloxi or Alabama. Thank you Chris for being a great host.
