Bear Trap Dunes is wonderful -property needs care
Publié le 24 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe always stay at Bear Trap Dunes and it’s our go-to choice for a summer break. It’s quiet, excellent facilities and setting. The property was comfortable but some serious improvements to the cleanliness and contents need to be made. Kitchen- very poorly stocked no mugs/cups and only one bowl- basically having to take turns to eat cereal. Living- carpet and all furniture were very dirty and stained. Bedrooms- no blankets provided. Only bed sheets and comforters. Bathrooms- no toilet paper. This property needs better care.

Nice trip

I would suggest disclosing the additional amenities fee with the listing so there are no surprises after booking. The was not as well stocked as other homes we have stayed in and there was some minor damage to appliances, electrical outlets and switches.

Peaceful getaway
Publié le 27 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwayTwo adult couples. The unit was very comfortable and spacious. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare meals. It was also nice that there was a lot of shopping and restaurants within about 30 minutes which we took advantage of. The one downside was a mildew smell in the master bathroom; there was mold on the bottom of the shower liner.

use the rear screened in porch very comfortable , twin beds best for kids in the second bedroom , a bit tough for adults .
