Excellent Stay
Publié le 9 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed in the first night & went out the second night. it was a short stay (weekend) but we had stayed there before. The process of getting the reservation was easy, the stay was superb (plenty of plates, glasses, utensils - we forgot condiments!), & the exit was easy. We went out on a tour - Oceanside Whale Watching - didn't see any whales but saw a school of dolphins who followed the boat. Overall, it was a great weekend!

Beautiful beachouse, great location
Publié le 1 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwaySpacious and airy house across the street from the beach. Walking distance to the very cute downtown of Oceanside. The beach isn’t wide and gets busy, but it was great for our young kids to play in the sand and surf. The house is in great condition and was perfect for a nice family weekend away.

4.5 stars would most accurate - only falls short of full 5 for a couple reasons.
1. Fireplace was not working. There was a label on the wall stating as much - so clearly was a known issue. I understand these things happen - but might have been nice to just offer us a heads up and an apology. Especially since it’s center piece of the main room.
2. Similarly to above - we found out upon arrival that use of the hot tub was an additional fee. Bit of a bummer for such an expensive rental. Host offered free use for a 5 star review - which kind of rubbed me the wrong way.
Overall great place and very clean and well maintained. Minor issues as noted above.

Publié le 31 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful and convenient location. The house itself has a great layout on the inside for multiple different couples or families vacationing together. We had a great time!
Only downfall was we weren’t informed that the hot tub wasn’t working and that was one of the reasons we chose that VRBO.

Super location, soft comfy beds, gorgeous furnishings and the sunset views were spectacular. Kim was super responsive and a joy to deal with. All in all, we were super happy to be staying in this beautiful home. Will definitely be back!!
