Amazing Stay!

We really enjoyed the outdoor space and the indoor/outdoor vibe of the entire house. The customer service was awesome. They had great communication, quick-response times and provided helpful options for us when weather cancelled a lot of our group's flights/travel plans. Thank you for everything!

Publié le 17 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWonderful place, was exactly what the whole family needed. There were 11 of us, didn’t feel cramped, everything was close and convenient. Management was responsive and really really attentive. My only complaint is the ceiling fans for the property were on timers and they shut off every thirty minutes. For what the cost is, I don’t want to wake up in the middle of the night cause it’s a little stuffy. But otherwise it would have been a five star the whole way down.

Beautiful location but poor condition
Publié le 27 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayMy family was very excited that we found this rental to celebrate my mom’s 80th birthday. The pictures on VRBO look beautiful and the rental is tastefully decorated. It’s right on the water with easy access to the freeway, but we quickly discovered it was far from what we’d expected for the price we paid.
The counters were sticky, the dishes had crusted food on them, the glasses had smudges on them, the dishwasher smelled “eggy,” the wine fridge wasn’t working, all of the outdoor chair cushions were worn and stained, the grill was filthy, and there’s no where near enough cookware for a family of 12-14. When we turned in that first evening, a pair of shorts was discovered in one of the showers, and there was feces on the wall in another bathroom. It was also impossible to close the pocket door to that bathroom, so there was no privacy.
The following morning, as we went to make breakfast, the kitchen exhaust fan over the stove started smoking and blew. Then one of the shelves in the hall closet came crashing down when we tried to place something on it because it was missing the supporting clips underneath. I texted that morning about the feces, exhaust fan, shelf, and wine fridge, and the management company sent people over to handle the issues.
While we loved our family time, we requested to have the cleaning fee reimbursed, since we’d had to clean so much ourselves, but the company refused, saying they could only provide credit towards a future stay.

Graduation Celebration
Publié le 24 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayThe property is exactly what you see. You are RIGHT on the ocean! We had guests from age 2 to 89 years-old. One small issue was the jacuzzi took awhile to heat up. But it was explained that they put in fresh water, so I think that was worth it. BIG issue was how disappointing Beachfront was about check-in. 4:00 pm is check-in. No one was in our unit the prior day. I inquired about early check-in I was told it was $600 for a 2:00 check in.
This is outrageous! I am on both sides of this business I would never gouge someone like this. After hearing this it was hard to believe Beachfront cared about our experience. Most tenants enter the home and decide what they need for their stay which usually requires shopping out side the property. I would not expect anyone do anything worth that amount of money for 2 hours. If ever given the opportunity to let someone start their vacation a little early, why wouldn't you. What added to the confusion is that they send you a count down clock for 12:00 am the day of not 4:00 pm
Please don't hide behind "policy" you make the rules.

Disappointed
Publié le 6 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwayI have rented a lot of properties on VRBO and have never left a bad review. However, this property was a huge disappointment. This house is in need of maintenance and revonation. The furniture is very worn, inside and outside. There were mice in the kitchen that got into our food repeatedly and pooped all over the counters. The A/C and every light and fan are on timers. The lights are understandable, but setting timers to turn off fans and A/C can make for a warm night. On a positive note, the view and the proximity to the beach are outstanding.
