中心地より遠く、入り口がわかりづらい

Publié le 30 juin 2017 sur Expedia

Due to the confusing street numbering system the hotel is difficult to find - it is actually on Kamanina Street. Look out for a blue sign on a gate in Cyrillic script only, follow the signs through a park that looks like a derelict military camp. There is a handy tram/bus stop nearby once you get your bearings. Room allocated to me (28) looked nothing like the pictures on here and was not in the building shown. It was an annexe above the parking area. It did not feel very private as there was a communal smoking area right outside my room and the walls were very thin. The bedding was worn and the ceiling slanted so much that it was not possible to stand up straight in half of the bathroom. Breakfast was ok, bit greasy but incredibly they charged me extra for the cup of coffee.

Ramshackle “Business Suites” on offer

Publié le 23 août 2011 sur Expedia
Don't be duped into reserving a "business suite" in this flop-house. First, the bathroom measured 67”x55”. The shower in the corner measures 21”x36” without any separation just a shower curtain with water pouring into a centrally located drain in the middle of the bathroom itself - not the shower! The shower hose was connected to the sink tap. A strange unpleasant, slightly miasmic odor emanates from the sink drain. Second, the (weak) air conditioner was not located in the bedroom but in the sitting room. Therefore I opted to sleep on the fold-out bed -- each time that I set the remote to 18ºC degrees, it reverted to 27 ºC. Curtains in the sitting room are sheer; thus awoke at 630am at sunrise. (In the hot bedroom, drapes at least afford 3/4 coverage from early morning rays. Third, no screens so although at night the weather is cool there is no point opening up the door to the balcony or any windows given mosquitoes. Fourth, location is unideal unless you are into the Arcadia night club scene. Fifth, there is no elevator. Sixth, breakfast, offered in five variants, was below standard. The first variant consists of eggs and ham. When my girlfriend asked that the “sunny side up” eggs given her be "over easy," they simply put the eggs in a microwave to cook them a second time! [However, I had no issue cottage-cheese filled pancakes (served cold)]. No choice of juice - we got apple juice (like it or not).
