Perfect get-away
Publié le 18 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall, the cabin is just a 10, just as described. It is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The grounds were well kept and everything was in good working order. There is a really great fire pit area that is a little walk down a small hill which was great for privacy. The hot tub was a relaxing break. We really did LOVE it and had an amazing time. The only reason I gave a 4 for the overall rating was that about 2 hrs into the stay some folks showed up to cut the grass and care for the lawn. Some might not care about that but we go to the woods for peace and quiet and that was a huge interruption. The owners were responsive and respected our desire for privacy and apologized though. Maybe plan those things during certain hrs or before or after someone leaves. our ONLY gripe. Other than that- it was fantastic.

We also appreciate your feedback on your experience regarding our team showing up for lawn maintenance. They also have schedules to work around and do their best to work while units are vacant, but we cannot promise future guests that the lawn won't be mowed during their stay. Wonderful

Family Vacation
Publié le 22 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property was excellent. Private and clean. Everything we could have wanted. Air conditioning at night downstairs for the master bedroom could’ve been cooler; but not enough to be a breaking point.
The owner was very understanding. I know when I booked in January I booked with two dogs. Made sure to have a pet friendly cabin. But the day before check-in the confirmation emailed to me had the pets left off. I waited to get there to see if it was a mistake. When the owner messaged me I paid the fee instantly.
My daughter and I very much loved location; layout of cabin and privacy.

Sounds like a wonderful family vacation was had! This home IS pet friendly, so we were happy to host your pets. If the pet fee does not appear on the quote or lease agreement, then we have no way of knowing a pet is part of your stay prior to arrival. We appreciate the quick response to the pet fee and would love to see you back next summer!

Nice cabin

This is in the listing but really should be communicated upfront and not just when checkin instructions are sent. I’d suggest bringing this up at the very beginning and include however many packages of 12GB can be used.
The cabin was a bit tight for 6 people but 5 would be great.
Super well maintained and close to sites.

Thank you for staying with us! It is true that internet is a paid amenity - and it is also correct that this is included in the listing (pretty upfront, as all guests can see the listing before booking). It is also included in your quote to rent, as well as itemized in the lease agreement that we share. So, we do bring plenty of attention and notice to guests prior to sharing check-in details. The fact that we have decent to good Internet for such a remote location makes us happy, and it does come at a cost. All guests are different in the amount of data they plan to use/do use, so we do allow guests to purchase as many packages as they want/need.
