I’d rate this place a 4.95 stars. Ohiopyle is an outdoorsy area and The Cole is a perfect place for those who like adventure. The kitchen was perfectly sized and equipped for preparing our meals whether eating in or eating out. The dining table was great for pouring over maps or sipping coffee. The unit was spacious. It’s located next to a farm-to-table restaurant and in front of a laundromat.
The only reason it didn’t earn a perfect 5 is because the AC smelled moldy and the beds were a little soft. I would definitely stay here again.

Publié le 6 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property was as advertised. It was clean and the location great for anyone who is active. It was very close to "Fallingwater" and "Kentuck Knob", the 2 sites we mainly wanted to see.
The only shortcomings with the house was lack of a closet and the TV not being located across from the bed.
My two telephone conversations with Andrea were pleasant and helpful.
My problem with VRBO was the price charged was not the price advertised on their site.

I’ve always wanted to stay in one of those little homes in Ohiopyle. It was a wonderful experience. I will do it again.

Ski trip vacation
Publié le 19 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy daughter and I stayed over President weekend to ski at Seven Springs. Great proximity to the slopes without the price tag of on-resort price tag. The place was really cute and more than enough for the two of us. Most of Ohiopyle is shut down for the off-season. But there was a great restaurant called Falls City Pub that has excellent food and service. Everything worked out great!

Perfect place in a great location

It had everything we needed and more. Although the fire pit looked very inviting we did not have time to enjoy it. We would definitely stay here again.

Get away
Publié le 18 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWas supposed to be an over night for me and a couple guys for our GAP bike ride but bad weather made us cancel so my wife and I used it as an over night get away. Local fire company was having their annual Buckwheat festival so that was a plus.

Just Perfect!

Loved Ohiopyle
Publié le 19 août 2023 sur HomeAwaySuch a cute little town. You can park your car and forget about it. You are within walking distance of the hiking trails and bike path, restaurants, and water adventure activities. On a rainy day, you can visit Laurel Caverns, Falling Water, and Kentucky Knob.
