One of the best places I've stayed. Room was lovely, incredible service, amazing facilities on offer, particularly enjoyed the beautiful public and private hot springs. Would absolutely stay again.

This hotel was in a really good walkable location. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The hotel onsen was great with a nice overlooking view of Beppu Bay.

Visit to Beppu, Japan
The hotel was nice. The room was a little smaller than expected but worked. The bathroom was small. WiFi was not accessible from the room, so you had to go to the lobby. I wasn’t bothered by that as we were not in the room much at all. Close proximity to shopping and attractions. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

Ideally placed
Hotel Sansuikan is ideally placed to visit the 6 ‘Hells’ with the remaining two a short bus stop away. With the right room, one can experience sunrise over the distant coastline and the neighbouring vents of steam. Reception was polite and informative about the area. No issues and highly recommended. Since we had our own onsen, we did not try their public ones.

It's not a high end hot spring hotel but overall is good to stay. Staff are nice and patience to serve us even they don't speak English very well. It's not a bad idea for us to stay again for next time visit.

Very convenient hotel for Seven Hells and Onsens
Hotel is superbly located to check out the Seven Hells hot springs and close by Onsens. If you get a high floor room there is a fantastic view on the Bay of Beppu. Both baths in the hotel on the first floor (public bath) as well as the private hotel one on the six floor are offering very good Japanese bath house experiences.
