A gem in historical Okarito.

The pest control work in the area has really paid off and the birdlife was amazing.
Highly recommended - couldn't ask for more.

Quiet Cottage near the beach

We used this as a base for the Franz Josef area, but also enjoyed the sights around Okarito, especially the beach. Beautiful sunsets, too! The cottage itself is very comfortable and well equipped. Great place to stay!

Okarito House
Publié le 18 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe bach was very comfortable and warm. Close to walking tracks and the lagoon.. The high tech oven took a bit of working out. Great shower and comfortable bed.
Saw a white heron near the Okarito village and enjoyed kayaking on the lagoon and walking in the beautiful forest. A beautiful area.
