The entire trip lacked privacy. We didn't know there would be another couple staying in the duplex that we could hear talking through the air vents or that the host was going to be all in our business during the stay. was

Sorry you felt that way. The other couple was gone from 7am-7pm working every day. I greeted you when you arrived and checked on you one time to see if everything was okay. I apologize if it bothered you.

Relaxing and enjoyable experience

It is easy to get to, a clean neat rental, and has a dock on a canal full of fish, turtles, waterfowl and an occasional gator!!

Perfect place to relax

Very quaint and quiet. Perfect little place to relax! Owner is close by and is super friendly and helpful! I will be staying here again!

This property was really cute and perfect for my needs this trip. The owner is very friendly and happy to accommodate. I would stay here again and I would recommend to others.

Great value for a fishing vacation!

It’s listed as an efficiency but it has a full kitchen. It doesn’t have Chrystal chandeliers, but I would bet there isn’t a better value for your dollar in the entire Okechobee area. Cheryl is a great host. You quickly come to understand why her guests become regulars. Yvette and I stayed 19 days in the efficiency and were very comfortable there. We have reserved Cheryl’s two bedroom unit for the first week of April. If you like birds: from the dock we saw: Pelicans, coots, white storks, pileated woodpeckers, cormorants, many different ducks, great blue herons, great egrets, snowy egrets, cattle egrets, white ibis, little blue herons, and a bunch more. Also be sure to watch across the canal at 5:00 PM when the neighbors’ fish feeder goes off. pandemonium! Have fun!
