Avis Waterfront, indoor pool, covered marina, fenced 3/2 home

I am sorry your short time there was a disaster; however, the things you said about your three days there has some issues. I do have Instructions on how to get in on VRBO, and many times they are not released. I am always available to our guests; however when you arrived I was in the emergency room with my husband and there is no service there. I did not see any messages come to my phone after I left the er at 4am that morning, and I assumed you got in according to the vrbo instructions. While you were there, I did not get a call concerning your daughter having to go to the ER. In all the years we have had this home on VRBO, there has never been a pool safety issue. It is swim at your own risk; there is a sign that states that. Was she running around the pool? The pool has a thick liner in it, so without any details, I am unable to speak to that. We went in to clean the day after you left and found a few regular bugs - just a few and not like you described - that are found in a house on the water. Gekkos are common by the water and get into tiny crevices and We have a pool service that comes every Tuesday and does a thorough cleaning and chemical balance. When there is a windy storm, some dirt can get in the pool. Over the last few weeks, we have been scooping the pool chairs and umbrellas out of the pool due to the windy storms. I do not know of any blinds missing from the bedrooms. I did not see that when I went up the day after you left. I will check it again today. The filter is changed monthly by an ac service. I saw that it was not changed and I apologize for that. It has been completed. You are right about the ceiling fan and will get it fixed immediately. I wish you would have tried again to contact me during your visit concerning your issues. The only time I had contact with you was when I wished you a safe trip home. And I didn’t hear from you at all when you were there. I could have made your stay better. Barb

Thank you for choosing our place for your family time. The two larger bedrooms do sleep lots of family and friends, with the smaller room with bunk beds creates a great, private place, including for the kids being in their own area but close to adults.
