First, management had to open the door to my room because there was a problem and it had to be pushed, pulled and lifted up to open. Tiny room and TV uses apps that you must sign into with your own sign-in info. The mattress had to have been 30 or more years old. The mattress was so soft I couldn't sit on the edge of the bed without sliding off. There were so many hard lumps in the mattress, I woke up with a sore neck and shoulders. This was probably the worst bed I have ever slept in. There was a body pillow with no pillow cover on it lying on the bed, gross. Tiny room with furnishings most likely purchased at a garage sale; old, chipped and cracked. Had to go to front office to get ice and handed out in gallon zip-loc bag.Very odd place, nice people, with interesting outside amenities. Good place to get drunk and party with friends outside in the "fire-pit" area.If this room cost $69 I'd say a decent deal, you get what you pay for, but at over $150, a rip-off.

Hi Doug - we do need to assist a few people with unlocking their door, which sounds like after the first time everything worked smoothly. Our TV is Roku and you do not need to use any apps of your own unless you wanted to watch something special. Roku has hundreds of options to choose from. The mattresses were purchased in 2018 and with the seasonality of our hotel, we only use them 4 months a year. It is recommended if you don't like the decorative pillow to place it elsewhere in the room. No, we haven't purchased our furnishings at a garage sale. Yes, we do pre-bag our ice and hand it to our guests in a ziplock bag. We have many families that stay with us and on weekends you can find people playing checkers, sitting by the fire, enjoying the grills and mainly just having fun and being happy! We aren't for everyone. Thank you!

First time staying, darling room, clean, walking distance to OBW for our cruise. Staff was so wonderful! We'll be back!

Very cute place, love the look and layout, I liked the open concept on the hangout area/park in the middle of the grounds

It was very unique to have fire pits setting around the center of the motel. Nice little tables to sit outside your room. Also outdoor items to use. Rooms where clean and cozy. Front desk staff and friendly.
