Balcony was perfect for stargazing
Publié le 13 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThough my favorite thing was looking up at the stars at night from the zero gravity chairs on the upstairs balcony, there are many great things about this property that my family loved! The view from any area outdoors is beautiful. We used the gas grill on the lower deck to cook steaks one night. The kitchen was adequately stocked with utensils we needed. The spiral staircase to the bedrooms was too much for my older family members, so they slept in the downstairs apartment that is accessed by outside steps lighted by solar lights. It was a bit of a challenge to keep my four-year-old granddaughter off the stairs and the outside decks. Wi-fi was good! We didn't walk down to the creek because it was a steeper incline than we figured we could manage. Petit Jean state park is just a short drive from the property. We want to come back again when it's just me and my husband for our next year anniversary, or maybe bring the babysitter with us for our granddaughter!

The whole family loved it!

I have 2 small children (4 and 3) and they really enjoyed staying here as well! I would recommend if you have small children to bring a baby gate just for safety with the stairs. I did communicate with the owner before coming and she did let me know that there was not one there at the moment(we brought one with us). I really appreciate how quick and kind the owners are!

Great Little Spot To Get Away
Publié le 23 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis little a-frame is bigger on the inside. We had a great stay with 3 kids, primarily spending the days over at Petit Jean State Park. The cabin was very nicely appointed, with a great view and the sound of a creek out the back decks. One note, beds are upstairs so if you have a little one, make plans for safety on the staircase. We really enjoyed this spot and would stay here again.

Better than expected!!

The property manager was very attentive and made sure we had what we needed. Close enough for a day trip to Petit Jean and several state parks! Can’t say enough good things about this property and our stay. Just book it!

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience
