Book your upstate Adirondack Mountains getaway at this charming 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath vacation rental house in upstate New York. Nestled in a quiet and private neighborhood, this rustic 1,500-square-foot home features 2 full front porches, an open-concept living room, lofted game room with a pool table, hot tub, fire pit, and comfortably sleeps 8. Take the 4-person canoe and paddle down Moose River, walk just under 2 miles into Old Forge, or hit the trails at the McCauley Mountain Center!

This newly built mountain house features hardwood floors, plenty of privacy, and an open-concept layout where no one is left out of the conversation. Picture yourself enjoying a delicious home-cooked dinner on the full front porch and watching as the sun sinks below the tree line!

Start your morning with a hot cup of coffee on the upstairs balcony and watch for local wildlife roaming around the property. When the whole group is awake, turn on your favorite song on the indoor Sonos sound system and prepare breakfast for everyone in the fully equipped kitchen! The kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances and a 3-person breakfast bar ideal for a midday snack.

When you're not out exploring Old Forge, relax on one of the 2 comfortable leather couches in the living room and watch your favorite movie on the mounted flat-screen TV with a DVD player. The window-lined living room also offers a charming wood-burning stove perfect for chilly evenings. If the sun is shining, walk out to the deck to enjoy your favorite book in one of 2 sky chairs.

After the sun sets, make a bonfire at the outdoor fire pit and roast s'mores for dessert. End the night with a relaxing soak in the private hot tub and converse with your travel companions about what to do next! The lofted game room also serves as a fantastic place for a friendly game of pool and an evening cocktail.

When it's time to hit the sack, head to one of 3 cozy bedrooms to drift into a deep sleep on the cloud-like mattresses. Additional sleeping for 2 is available on the upstairs sleeper sofa in the lofted game room!

Old Forge is known as the 'Adirondack Base Camp,' and is the largest of all the hamlets in historical Webb. On the nights that you're not dining at the house, drive just over a mile to the Five Corners Cafe to sample your way through their array of delicious entrees and wash it down with a bottle of wine. The Fulton Chain Craft Brewery is another great place to grab a beer with your travel companions!

The Enchanted Forest Water Safari is 1.6 miles from the house and a perfect way to spend a summer day! The water park is known for its heated outdoor and indoor water rides, arcade, and a variety of amusement rides.

Grab the 4-person canoe from the house and walk over to the Moose River. The home is located minutes from the North Branch of the Moose River and is one of the top spots in the nation for whitewater rafting, canoeing, and kayaking! The town of Old Forge also offers a beach at First Lake with lifeguards for safe summer swimming. Take a scenic cruise on First Lake or drop your boat and explore all the lakes on your own.

Fun private getaway

This property is very private nestled in the woods, the host was super informative about his property and answered any questions or concerns i had immediately. The house is super cute very clean. The hot tub was nice and he had hanging swings on the deck that were super comfy and relaxing. Will definitely be going back we had a great time.

Beautiful home!

This home is perfect for a weekend away with friends, a girls getaway or for winter activities. The rooms were beautiful, the yard and fire pit area are perfect for gatherings. Our host went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful!

Perfect location and beautiful property

The house and property are perfect for a relaxing weekend. The fire pit and hot tub were perfect amenities. The location to town was so convenient. We didn’t get a chance to use the kayaks or canoe but next time we definitely will. Beds were comfortable and accommodating and we definitely will book again in the future. What a fantastic gem in the forest

This was such a great and fun house with excellent privacy and amenities. Modern yet rustic at the same time made the style so enjoyable. The pool table, hot tub, and arcade machine provided so much fun entertainment on those rainy days. Great host with excellent communication. Definitely looking forward to staying here again. Thanks!

Nice setup and location, but missing necessities

A lot of utensils and knives are still needed for this kitchen. Coffee mugs needed. Coffee maker and Keurig did not work. We rented the house because of the hot tub and were notified the day before that it was not working and when we got there we could tell it hadn’t been working for sometime. For the price you would hope that sheets and towels and garbage removal would be included. None of the remotes worked for the TVs. It is a beautiful setting but missing a lot of necessities so it may not be worth the price for that.

The house is lovely and had a nice location on a wooded lot outside of town. We felt that the couches downstairs and upstairs beds were very uncomfortable. Upstairs bathroom needs some place to put toiletries etc

Absolutely amazing!!

This house is the perfect family vacation spot! It is so relaxing and beautiful and very clean. My family and I had an amazing time making s’mores by the fire, walking in town, swimming, and enjoying the wild life. I would definitely recommend, and will be coming back again!

Great Autumn Weekend

Very well appointed, very comfortable, clean. Location; you feel as though you are in deep woods and actually, you are right around the corner from everything. We have been visitors to the area for more than 20 years; this was our first stay away from the water front and we were not disappointed. Mike's phone call before visit was most helpful ( would like to have a current e-mail address for him). Thank you for making your home away from home available to enjoy.

Great Weekend

This is a beautiful house that worked perfectly for a family of 5 adults. Plenty of room and things to do. The location near town was convenient (recommend dinner at the Five Corners Cafe), the porches were fantastic for coffee in the morning and the hot tub was great at night. Nicely wooded area which was quiet and serene. Of course, we saw deer! We enjoyed every minute. Beautiful, well-equipped kitchen and the whole place was immaculate. We really enjoyed the pool table and video games too. We played golf at Thendara and didn't have time to use the kayaks, but would love to come back and do that another time. Highly recommend.

Bachelor Weekend

I spent a weekend here with my groomsmen and brother-in-law's and had the time of my life. The place is beautiful, just like the pictures, and the yard/fire pit was perfect for what we were looking for. It was awesome having a hot tub, especially after a 4 hour paddle up the river and having to carry the conoe and kyacks to and from. I suggest bringing a truck or a trailer if you plan to use the conoe and kyacks that are there. I would say my two favorite parts about this place were the two porches on different levels and the fire pit (the property is also surrounded by fallen, dead wood, so we didn't pay anything for wood, but it was a little work). We definitely plan to rent this place again in the future and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing place for the weekend!

Perfect Getaway

The house was gorgeous and perfect for our trip away with friends. The three bedrooms allowed for privacy while the living/dining/kitchen combo and the upstairs loft allowed for so much fun! I loved starting out my morning on the swing chair on the first balcony. It was so peaceful listening to the birds and not seeing any other houses. We enjoyed nights by the fire and in the hot tub. The host was great at responding and gave us directions on taking the kayaks down to the river which was very easy and we had a great time. The town is super cute and we loved visiting all of the shops, restaurants/cafes, and the winery and brewery. The highlight though was having and mama and baby bear visit on our first night. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!
