Avis Fantastic pool home in park-like setting on Connecticut Shore

We loved the house itself. We could grill or order in pizza or go out to the many excellent nearby restaurants. We were also near the beach. We loved Surf Club (public beach) in nearby Madison. Me, my girlfriend Mary, her daughter Sam and my daughter Izzy all had a great time. It was the most time we had ever spent together as a family unit and the house was a great backdrop for that. There is also a fire pit where we made smores one night. Patricia is a lovely and caring host.

The house, pool, & property were excellent, and the location was great! The owners were nice, and also responsive when necessary.

This house is lovely. Patricia is a great host, providing more than the usual amenities. The weather was in our favor even in early June. If you are over 60, the stairs are very steep inside the house and there are no railings outside. Just a caution, not a big deal. The house more than makes up for it in other ways. It is comfortable, cozy and there is plenty of room for a larger family. We owned two VRBO properties and Patricia outdoes many that we have stayed at. She was available for our questions, and provided helpful advise every step of the way. We would definitely stay here again in the future. The patio is great overlooking the pool, our granddaughter went in but early June is a bit chilly even with the heat blanket that’s kept on top. I can highly recommend this property, you will love it!

Lovely spacious house, lovely secluded setting, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Swimming pool was a plus.

We want to profusely thank Patricia for the use of her beautiful home! From the beginning, communication was excellent and Patricia answered all of our many questions about the house and the area. This was the perfect spot for myself, my husband, our two young kids (ages 8 and 11) and our dogs. The beds were the most comfortable I and my family had ever experienced, the bathrooms were super clean (which is huge for me) and the entire house was just adorable. We really enjoyed family nights in the huge TV room and really appreciated that it was separate from another living area space so that we could have adult conversation in one room while our kids enjoyed watching TV in the other. The pool was amazing! It was the perfect size and our youngest actually learned how to dive on this trip. Our kids loved the smart fridge and the fact that you could play music, look up stuff, and even "draw" on the whiteboard. It was super easy to do our laundry whenever needed and the kids loved having their own tv in their very cozy bedrooms. The area is spectacular and being in such a private location was a plus. No noisy neighbors or anything like that and it was truly a serene spot to be in. Saybrook is near and dear to me and I was so looking forward to bringing my family to the area- Having this house was the perfect touch and we are already excited to come back next year. We had a nice family vacation in Old Saybrook. Beautiful home with a very nice pool where we spent most of our time. Patricia was a very good host and attentive to our needs. Great amenities .

The house was beautiful and well maintained. The pool was super clean (though not heated, but we didn't need it!) Our host was super accommodating and we had a great week
