Publié le 12 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayVery peaceful setting directly on Pushaw Lake outside of Old Town. Out of the way from the populated tourist areas but all are accessible within a 1- 2 hour drive. Communication with property manager was excellent and house had everything we needed. Old Town had good restaurant options.

Quiet and Beautiful!

The owner was responsive to questions. The manager/cleaner (Tiffany) communicated clearly and was helpful with information.
It should be noted that the 3rd floor bedroom is up steps that are almost ladder like – very steep. The third floor also has very little headroom. We peeked up there and quickly realized that it was too short of space for my husband to feel comfortable.
Since it was just the two of us, we used the very comfortable bed in the lower level. This level had panoramic views of the lake and was wonderful. The bathroom is on the second floor so if you get up in the night, be sure to leave the cute Mason jar night light on at the top of the steps.
We spent one day at Acadia National Park and it is about 1 ½ hour drive. It was an easy drive and a good day. We also enjoyed Hirunda Wildlife Reserve that was only a 15-minute drive from this cute cabin.
The cabin was fully equipped with a complete kitchen, dining table and living area on the second floor, again, with beautiful views! The biggest inconvenience is the refrigerator located downstairs in the laundry room making it a bit odd when you need to get food. Try as I might as an early riser, I ended up blinding my husband with refrigerator light when I grabbed my half and half each morning.
We would definitely return to this place. It was a great escape!

We had besutiful waeather and were able to utilize the grill and enjoy the sunshine and beaitiful view of the lake. enjoy the pati. We utilized the grill

Perfect lake getaway
