A Charming Spur of the Moment visit
Posted Mar. 17, 2024 on Hotels We arrived around 5:00 and Joan the innkeeper was there to check us in. She told us everything we needed to know and even told us that they renovated the inn 28 years ago. The Inn was very nice and we had the room on the 1st floor - it had an electric fireplace to make it cozy and a small bathroom. The next morning we enjoyed a hot egg bake breakfast with homemade jam. Joan was there to chat with us and we had a lovely discussion about our families. All in all a great trip. We would certainly return.

Beautiful old Victorian house. Lots of charm. Friendly staff who were kind enough to take us on a holiday weekend.

Quaint Victorian
Posted Oct. 19, 2023 on HotelsCheck-in was a cinch. I got the Wi-Fi password and door code, asked about the time I wanted breakfast, and was given a lovely room.
The house is Victorian. Quiet area. I have to say that, for me, the best part is I didn't suffer from numbness in my legs.
I have a condition in which the skin on top of my thighs goes numb when I'm laying down unless I find the exact right position. When I woke up this morning, it took me a second to realize I didn't toss and turn trying to find the right position!
For those of you wanting a streamlined modern facility, this isn't it. But if you want quaint charm, lots of wood, old family photos, and a 1,000 piece puzzle to work on, you'll be in heaven.
I would absolutely stay there again!
