Hôtel paradisiaque

Très beau séjour dans un cadre absolument paradisiaque. Le personnel était très accueillant et aux petits soins. L'ensemble des locations (chambres et villas) sont confortables, très bien entretenues et toutes avec une magnifique vue sur l'océan.

Hotel a éviter absolument.

Sejour de 10 jours a la période de Noel. Nous avions réserve une chambre dite deluxe, Quelle ne fut notre surprise de découvrir que pour un séjour de 10 jours , on nous avait attribue un bungalow loin de tout, près de la cabane des jardiniers ,dans un repère de moustiques et sans que nous puissions meme apercevoir l océan...aux Maldives!!! lorsque nous avons protester, on nous a répondu que seule une suite sur pilotis était disponible moyennant un supplément de 440$/nuit.....; il ne reste qu a reprendre l avion pour quitter les Maldives et mieux choisir l hôtel ou accepter ce que nous avons fait, impossible bien entendu de négocier la moindre remise, aucun sens du commerce ou du service dans cet hôtel; le bungalow sur pilotis était cependant agréable et tel que l on imagine un séjour aux Maldives; nourriture archi-decevante et pour l essentiel sans aucun gout, nous avions réserve en pension complete et il a fallu payer plusieurs suppléments dont un spplement obligatoire de 300$/personne pour un lamentable diner de Noel, les transferts en bateau depuis Male ne sont pas inclus 600$ pour 2 pour 30 minutes de bateau; a total pire rapport qualité/prix possible, service nul, nourriture archi-decevante. A éviter absolument.

A truly lovely resort, but it has a number of shortcomings. I had a villa with pool and it was spectacular! Truly lovely. Took 2 days to get used to the outdoor bathroom, but it's safe. Things to note: You cannot order an alcoholic beverage for in-villa dining (except beer), but you can order a bottle @ ~3x the cost. (e.g. gin $135-$160 a bottle; JD $175; grey goose $210!). Get duty-free before you get to the island, if you can. There is no beach service except at the bar pools. My villa was right on the beach with a private pool, but I had to go to one of the bars. Kinda defeated the purpose, for me. In-villa dining is kinda bad (improperly seared tuna; bitter lettuce; horrible scrimpy chicken sandwich), and if they are busy with breakfast, 5 or 6 calls will still not guarantee they answer. Please check departure time against number of nights charged. I had a departure at 1:45 am on Friday, thus was at the airport at 8 pm on Thursday (late night boats not available, and that's the only way to the island). Nonetheless, because my flight was after midnight, they charged me for 6 nights instead of 5. Not sure if that was their fault or Expedia. Either way, it sucked. Most of the staff are friendly and efficient, though smiles are hard to come by. (It may be a cultural thing.) Clovie at check-in was OK but not warm and welcoming. My housekeeper, Abdullah, was FABULOUS!! Kinda shy, but always pleasant and helpful.

everything was amazing from day one. However, they could have done a better job on the food. food was ok but not excellent. other than that. staff and everything else was amazing. definitely will come back
