The check in left much to be desired as I had to stand in the cold wind for an exceptional length of time, as I have COPD, this is not pleasurable.
Having to climb a rather long flight of stairs in the cold with a north wind blowing was extremely difficult, it took me almost 10 minutes to get from my car to the room. Considering that almost every ground floor was empty, not happy.
THe walls are paper thin, so privacy is not there.

Pour : Door of room opened to beach area.
Contre : Pay better attention to bookings, I booked two double beds, they first gave us a single queen, ended up with two single beds.
More attention has to be paid to room bookings. Larger glasses in rooms for mixing drinks would be appreciated.

Contre : could have used a small table or desk with chair or chairs instead of an armchair that took up too much space.
We arrived in the middle of a snow storm. Thank goodness we were not there to use the beach which is right on your doorstep or enjoy the wonderful view across the lake. We were in town for a family function during the 'off season' and were pleased with our experience at Lakeside.
