good location for hight st in Olney. What we needed. Friendly staff, and comfortable room.

Publié le 11 mars 2019 sur HotelsOur room was at the top of some steep or on steps which were to be handled with care. We knew we had 2 single beds but was surprised to see that the l shaped room meant that they were not next to each other!
My husband woke up to a hot foot on the radiator which partly covered his bed space!
Very clean with nice touch of a chocolate bar with the tea/coffee making facilities.
Breakfast was good and our hostess was very friendly. Not convinced it was great value for money but it served a purpose for our needs.

The twin bedded room you booked is large and L shaped -- it is very popular in the business week with 2 men sharing as it is very private. I agree it is not a 'romantic' room so perhaps click and book one of our King size or Super King bedrooms next time?? We also have 3 ground floor bedrooms if you are nervous of stairs. Best to ring up and discuss your needs perhaps?
We would have been unable to move you as we were fully booked that night, not that you mentioned anything to us during your stay. Glad you liked your cooked breakfast. We think £90 is amazing good value, particularly as this website takes 20% of that amount in commission from us and it was so convenient for you because your party was just up the road and so no taxi costs!

Hotel was very nice. Not much to do in Olney and can't really drive anywhere else due to bad traffic on main road after 5pm.

You don't need the car here as there are 5 pubs, 12 restaurants and 10 coffee shops only 2 minutes walk up our road. Just ask at reception for recommendations : - )
