That’s why we don’t serve plastic bottles of water—it’s pure, straight from the source. We also truly appreciate your feedback about the pool table. We’ve taken steps to address it, including ordering replacement tips directly from the manufacturer. While the delivery can take longer than we’d like, we’re ensuring they’ll be available for future guests. For leveling, we carefully adjust the table after every cleaning, but we’re actively working on a locking mechanism to keep it stable during use. #woodsyretreat is known to be Olympia's hidden gem. It is a forest bathing smack dab in the temperate rainforests, and it is the only rental with an outdoor private spa. Our daylight walkout has a view of the forest in every room. The great room and bedrooms have cable TV, and the bedding is known to be beyond 5-star quality. A billiard table is inside and outdoors, and there is a daybed swing with a heater on the patio. It is a 10-minute walk from the state park to the beach.

We are a boutique Short-term rental (STR), and as hosts, we work hard to provide our guests with a retreat, a forest bathing experience. The daylight walkout is smack dab in the temperate rainforest, with a trail right out your door, a 2-minute walk to the State Park trail! You arrive at the beach in another 7 minutes from the State Park trail. We have a teepee structure being built on the property in honor of the Nisqually Indian tribe. Plus, we are the only STR with an outdoor private spa that is not shared. Guests rave about the patio daybed swing and our coffee/tea bar, the stocked kitchen, the continental breakfast- the artisan warm bread, the bed linen, the bathroom, and its bath sheets and robes. While there are large house rentals, the fee is so high here at #WoodsyRetreat that it is affordable. We want all to experience the temperature of the rainforest, drink our 3,000-year-old water, and have a retreat. Woodsy Retreat is known as the hidden gem of Olympia.

Throughout the year, #WoodsyRetreat guests rave about living outdoors on our patio, where the patio bed swing allows them to sleep under the stars at night. The private spa, which is not shared, offers a unique experience. Guests have mentioned enjoying their books in the outdoor clawfoot tub and watching the moon and stars from the hot tub, creating unforgettable memories of their stay. The hiking, walking, and running are done in the rainforest right out your door. So many guests remark that our linens and mattresses are the best, and their sleep is refreshing. All in all, it is a retreat.
