Beautiful Location
Publié le 13 janv. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe inn was nice. The kids slept on sofa bed which was in other room. Bathroom in between. Spacious. Beautiful balcony. Nice amenities. Played a little ping pong, shuffleboard, and Pac man with the kids. 2 out of the three arcade games turn on. They only sort of work but still fun. Nice clubroom with fireplace, kitchen and bathroom close to swimming area. One hotub was open one night and closed the other. Didn't get a chance to use it. The area had enough snow piles the kids played in. There was a nice shuttle system to take you to the village. I walked one time with 6 and 2 year old in the morning to go for breakfast. It was doable. Just at the maximum they could walk. Probably 10 minutes. Path was groomed. We had a good time and drove to Tahoe City for ice skating and tubing. Lots of traffic due to snowy conditions. Probably 30 minutes with the traffic. Overall we enjoyed it.

We are very glad you enjoyed your stay at O.V.I. (Olympic Village Inn). We use it all times of the year enjoying the four seasons we have been owners for over 30 years now. My wife enjoys the fall colors in October best, as she does not Skii but I do, so she usually sits by the fire place and cuddles up on the couch and read a book, or she will go out Snow Shoeing in Shirley Canyon.
