Very clean, quiet. Loved the book/folder about the hotel,in the room that quiet hours are strickly enforced.

This property is shameful. Filthy from top to bottom. A Wyndham franchise means nothing in this case. Cheap, yes, but not worth it. Lobby furniture is stained and disgusting. Hotel room had food (old and crusty) on the floor from previous occupants. Pulled back the sheets to check for bedbugs. Black specs under the sheet, not sure if they were bugs or not. Towels were old and scratchy (sheets, too). Did not get a wink of sleep, left at 6am.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I showed up with my paid reservation at 11pm with my young daughter. The 2 people behind the counter told me they didn’t have our room and turned us away. No apology, they could not have cared less. There were no other rooms in Council Bluffs. The lobby was filthy and full of cigarette smoke, the people behind the counter were rude and nasty, and there was open drug use going on in the parking lot just outside the front door. I started taking pictures to add to my review. At that point, the people behind the counter said “We have room! We have room!” And tried to give me a room. What??? I asked what room it was and it had 1 bed and was a “smoking room”. Didn’t know there was still such a thing. To add insult to injury, they told me they could not refund the room they didn’t have, but that I had to pay TWICE what I originally paid for a non-smoking, 2-bed room. I did not have the money, so we had to leave and fend for ourselves. Never an apology, nothing but attitude. They do not deserve to be on this site. I have included a picture of them callously turning me away and telling me to leave.

This must have been a decent hotel when it was built twenty years ago. But its management at some point just stopped caring.
