Real bach, comfortable

Kai iwi lakes a dream so beautiful. Tane Mahuta, Opononi. Paihia. WAITANGI DAY WAY was phenomenal.

Publié le 22 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt's a small town and the house is nice and cosy and simple. Kitchen was nice and simple and had all the things you needed. Bathroom and toilet was simple and tidy. Highly recommend you do groceries at Dargaville before coming here! Otherwise you'll end up eating out which isn't bad but a drive to anywhere.
Omamari is a very quiet place. The way to the nearby beach is close except you will get wet to get to the beach. Unless you've got a 4WD which looks like heaps of fun. Insanely quiet beach, but not suitable for swimming. Beautiful and long, perfect for a run.
If you're keen to just do nothing and relax and detox, this is a good place for it! No wifi, but there is TV. No washing machine but you could hand wash if you need.
The best thing was the night sky - stars were insane!
Easy check in and communication.

Cosy little stay

It was very hot during our stay and only had one fan in the house so it did get a little uncomfortable at night as the heat was a bit much. Make sure you pack enough towels for your stay as the closest laundry is in Dargaville. The kids had fun exploring the area and heading to the lake everyday.
