VERY disappointed in this hotel. I booked the Villa goong by the photos online. What a big mistake that was! The unit was tired and basically a big let down. We had NO cutlery or plates in the unit to eat off and there were no spare blankets as it got a bit cool in the night. Outside the villa was scruffy and needed some TLC. This hotel needs a good makeover to justify the room rate I paid @ $333.00/night! We are now staying in Paihia and have cutlery, plates, spare blankets and the unit is clean and a great deal @ half the price with a room rate of $159.00/night. We would never stay at the Sands Hotel again.

ロケーションは海の目の前で良いが、設備、部屋の作りを考えると相対的にお値段高めな印象。 スタッフは皆さんフレンドリーです。

The most breathtaking view, room and facilities were lovely and clean, excellent staff and service. Would definitely stay again.

The spa was cold when we arrived. The spa water had a bad odour - like it had not been cleaned and the water had been sitting for a long time. There was sand in the bottom of the spa. It was a shame as we booked to be able to use the spa pool. Some of the bench top surfaces were sticky. The Villa we stayed in was tidy. The grounds and staff were lovely.

We had a wonderful 3 nights at The Sands. The property has so much character and commands one of the most picturesque spots in NZ. The staff are charming and go out of their way to make your stay special, great food in the restaurant also. It’s a special place to experience, staffed by a lovely bunch of people.

一番印象的だったのは、レストランのお料理が最高で美味しかったことです。もちろん、窓からの景色も最高でした。 ただ、到着したのが夜で、お部屋を探すのに、照明がなくスマホの灯りを頼りに探すことになり、苦労しました。 ビラは古びていましたが、基本的には大丈夫でした。 スタッフの方々は皆さんフレンドリーで、最高でした。 ありがとうございました。
