Horses and hiking

Publié le 9 avr. 2016 sur Expedia
Pour : It's remoteness.
Contre : A warm pool or hot tub!
Emplacement : This is a remote farm so plan on enjoying the ranch by hiking or riding horses and the wonderful food.
The facility is historic and shows it's age in a lovely, welcoming way. Despite representing itself as having a pool, it isn't maintained for swimming (not cleaned, very cold). The grounds are simple and rustic. Horses, sheep, dogs roaming all over. Pastoral. Riding is at a fast clip, and there is plenty of opportunity to gallop should you desire. The horses and the saddles are incredibly comfortable. The internet is very spotty (they access it through a satellite phone system) so if you need to get any work done, don't plan on it! It is a great place to disconnect, sit back, read, enjoy the amazing and ample food, and take a breather.

Ranch perfection in argentina

Publié le 23 mars 2016 sur Hotels
The stay and ranch are amazing. The staff in particular were always looking after us, offering activities and checking up without being annoying. They were there and available when needed, but left us alone when not. The food was plentiful--four huge and delicious meals a day. The only activity we really did was horseback riding, and it was spectacular. Neither of us was a good rider, but the horses were gentle and our guide Domingo always went at a comfortable pace. The highlight though was the off-trail rides. All in all, it felt like staying at the country home of some very lucky friends rather than staying at a hotel. Worth the 90 minute off-road effort to get there and highly recommended for an estancia stay in Argentina.
