Homeless people were there, didn't feel safe. And outside it smells so bad.

Granted, it was Saturday night and a full hotel. However, the upstairs room was so noisy, outside and in, that it required earplugs for sleep. Also, oddly, the room AC was mounted so high above the bathroom counter that it couldn’t be adjusted from high cool and the bed had only one thin blanket. And, the pillows!! Sofa pillows, hard as rocks— never experienced anything like that in 50 years of travel.
Front desk lady was very nice, although short staffed.
Suggesting a makeover for this place.

Good but noisy
Publié le 13 oct. 2024 sur HotelsThe staff was very friendly and professional and the bed was comfortable, the location was convenient, however the hotel room definitely showed its age. They could benefit by upgrading the heating and air for sure, luckily the weather was moderate so we didn't have to utilize it much. The room was clean too, but the bathroom had signs of previous mildew and the grouting just gave a look that may make someone question the cleanliness. The toilet was very low and small. An upgrade may be useful especially for those that have arthritis or difficulty standing from low sitting furniture. Our first night the noise level was okay, but the 2nd night there were other patrons that were very loud outside and although our door and window was closed we could hear them as though they were in our room. The door did not have a tight seal and you could see light around the entire door when it was closed. We also had upstairs neighbors that were walking around and not sure what else in the middle of the night. It was loud enough to wake us and keep us from getting back to sleep easily.

The property is near stops and we had to leave room window open because AC unit was broken. The room smelled bad, and was not cleaned properly. When we asked for a different room we were told there was no other rooms. It was late and we were tired, so we didn’t fight for the change. In the morning the toilet backed up and we couldn’t use it. Had to leave to the truck stop.
