Interior of the room was not at all up to the mark. No value of money at all. Room was dusty and untidy not even toiletries were provided on the first night.

not worth the rate
Publié le 6 janv. 2015 sur HotelsThe location was very good.The welcoming was comforting.When We entered the room we were totally upset.the room was very very small.could hardly move.no chairs inside for lack of space.nowhere to sit except for the bed.no proper space for luggage also.due to low temp could not make use of the chairs outside the room.the breakfast was not at all like a star hotel.though the buffet layout had a variety,there was no taste to the food.was not at all worth for the price we paid

Publié le 24 mars 2014 sur HotelsLocation Good, Food Charges are exorbitant, if you are booking through online travel site such as Hotels.com you may not get 100% hotel services. If you are Mahindra Members you may have some discount however you should be ready for Rs 2000 food bill for two Pax. I was charged twice for hotel booking on the pretext that Hotels.com has not made payment for hotel booking. though hotels.com had charged as shown on receipt, they charged rent of Rs 11,512.32 for what is littel known as I was leaving for Wayanad. on reaching wayanad I checked the mail from hotels.com and was surprised that other than expenses incurred they charged again for Hotel booking.

Publié le 9 janv. 2014 sur Hotelsthere is no good place to eat nearby. only option u have is the hotel dining. buffet is very expensive considering the items served. if u order a-la-carte, they make you wait for 30-45 minutes while other people have their way with the buffet making you feel like stupid. the heater ran into problem at the middle of the second night when the weather was very cold. and it took them so many visits to fix it. every time some one comes and says this is the problem and the other person comes and tells entirely opposite thing. waste of time n money. If ur intention is site seeing and moving around, don;t opt for this hotel. go for something cheaper. there are so many by the way in Ooty. I heard even Sterling resorts is better than this.

Overrated and Expensive

Stayed there for two nights. The room was very small with minimal facilities. The staff were not helpful at all. Our luggage was left in the car port for more than 15 minutes and we had to go and fetch them ourselves although they promised to bring it to our room. Food was not very good especially the a la carte menu. The hotel is on a hill and it is not easy to access the local shops and other amenities.
