Publié le 15 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayabsolutely stunning property - every one love the facilities - I felt like checking in was more difficult and complex that it needed to be - charged extra for kids to sleep on top bunks - had to send back and additional signed form over and above the usual booking process that I have done many times through book a batch. But great location, handy to Opononi.

Things certainly did get a bit difficult when you messaged us on the morning of your arrival apologising you’d made an error that the booking didn’t include 10 x Adults ready to share the five Queen/Double beds, but the majority of the guests were <18, and that you were happy to cover the costs of any additional charges so that all 13 beds could be used. Consequently, the local Property Managers dropped everything to rapidly make sure all the beds were made-up for your group [they charge us Per Bed with cleaning fees], so we’re deeply disappointed you are now saying you were unhappy to pay for Extra Beds.☹ Our Team genuinely strived to do everything in our power to look after your requests to try to ensure your stay could be the best possible experience all-round. We are sad you have expressed any disappointment, and only extend to you our kindest and warmest regards.

Beautiful Coastal Hokiday Home
Publié le 7 févr. 2023 sur HomeAwayOnepu has a beautiful deck that overlooks the water and sand dunes. The house was fully equipped for all our holiday needs and the spa was a bonus. Loved it.

Publié le 23 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe had a beautiful stay in Opononi. The house is big enough to fit our big whānau with plenty of beds, towels and toys for the tamariki. The whare was very clean and had a nice calming feel to it.
The communication was excellent from Kathy and the team. We had a few extras come stay and Kathy sorted it straight away.
Overall 10/10 from our whānau!
We’ve already booked our next stay.

Modernised Kiwi Bach with spectacular views.
Publié le 25 janv. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe have had an enjoyable, relaxing and comfortable stay at your Bach. The views are amazing. The Bach is well decorated and created a warm, relaxing ambiance.
Kitchen is well equipped for entertaining.
However, there are a few small things that could be improved.
SAFETY - number of the guests tripped on the stairs onto the deck, on the differing floor levels in the lower unit and on the last step of the internal stairs.
MAINTENANCE - a few missing lightbulbs in the bedrooms and a blown lightbulb in the bathroom.
CLEANING - we would have appreciated the airing of the lower unit prior to guests arriving.
We really did enjoy our stay, I hope this feedback is helpful and constructive.

Thank you Evelyn for your response. Yes there is one step from the lounge to the deck which guests don't generally have an issue with, however we are going to add a strip of white trim to make it stand out even more. Regarding bulbs, we do apologise that wasn't pickup up before your stay, but we do wish you'd followed the instructions to simply call our local Property Manager who lives 5mins away and could have sorted that for you quick smart so it was not an ongoing issue. And finally yes we do always air out the property but our local Cleaners had the property ready for you as a complementary Early Check-In (which you didn't end up using) so yes the whole house was shut up on a hot day for quite some hours before your arrival. We do appreciate the feedback and hope to see you again at one of our properties. Mark, Owner.

Labour weekend stay
Publié le 25 oct. 2021 sur HomeAwayExcellent place for us all. Great space for all the whanau with beautiful decor. Two very well equipped kitchens, beds were all comfortable and beautiful decor.
Although the weather wasn’t the best great full for the differing spaces allowing us to be inside to enjoy each other’s company. Thanks Kathy for all the comms and keeping in touch. Also to Wayne for coming to unlock the room that the kids accidentally locked. Our kids will remember this for years to come.

Onepu Moana has three security cameras on the building exterior that face the four entrances into the house. These cameras are only active when no-one is occupying the property. These particular guests during their stay, actually hosted an unpermitted event, even including erecting two Bouncing Castles, plus inviting extra guests. Afterwards we were horrified to learn about the mess to the driveway and backyard, the trashed Bunk-Room carpet, and all the missing/broken bits of kitchen equipment/ornaments/recycling-bins. So clearly we don't have the cameras functioning during guest stays as otherwise we would have been aware a party was going on! :(

Rāniera and his whanau were excellent guests.
The children created some accidental damage, but Rāniera was actively helpful to pay to sort the issues, no problem.
We would be honoured to have Rāniera book again.
They have been wonderful to deal with.

Beautiful scenery and well set out house
Publié le 3 févr. 2021 sur HomeAwayWe found this house ideal for our group of four families, with a good set up with two kitchens, bbqs, bathrooms, and outdoor eating areas to accommodate our needs. Our kids loved playing in the spa after time spent exploring the sand dunes, Koutu Boulders, and Wairere Boulders. There was everything we needed, and even though there were a lot of rules which were a little disconcerting, (I guess the owners have been burned before), once all the breakable items had been moved out of the way of kids, the house was a great place to be based - we even got treated to some karaoke fun from the house next door and tractors baling hay on the other side!

Kia or Rebecca. We are so pleased you have a lovely stay at the beautiful ONEPU MOANA on the stunning Hokianga ... yeah over time we have needed to add instructions to things we at first assumed were pretty basic commonsense - but from recurrent damages we've needed to spell some things out so amenities can remain immaculate and functional for the next guests booked to stay, while trying hard not to detract from current guest enjoyment to be able to chillax. We're so pleased you did! Sweet as. :)
