Amazing Host
Publié le 29 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwaySuch fantastic communication with host who went out of her way to provide a great stay. Simple gestures of baskets of shampoos etc and coffee pods. House had everything we needed and nice to be allowed dog with us.

Great for a wedding

Weather wasnt great so kids made good use of the board games. Definitely recommend if youre looking to get away for a technology detox as it is near impossible to get any mobile reception. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in Opoutere, thanks Emily.

Authentic Bach - Not
Publié le 30 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayShe advertises as authentic! There is a big diff between authentic and rundown! She advertises as a view! There is no view as its so overgrown. She advertises the deck not good for children! Its not good for anyone at all! Its downright dangerous. In 2 bedrooms your foot is going thru the floor. The floor has not been cleaned in months we had to wear shoes as your feet get so black and dirty. The curtains hang off the rails not on. All the cushions and blankets are dirty. Mould on the shower curtain. This place needs a major overhaul and i mean everything. I dont think the owners have been to see this place in a very long time. I would not recommend and i would not eva go back. Have fotos if you require. Happy to be contacted as well.

Hi Tania, in response to your comments in the review. I don't state anywhere in my property listing that my place is authentic. We visited the property ourselves literally days after your departure and can confirm there is a standing view from the deck, however agree it was a bit overgrown and we have now cut back some of the trees to help with this. The cleaner who we have come in after each visit, confirms the floors are mopped with hot soapy water each and every time. It seems someone has not used the cord to open the curtains (rather just pulled on them to open/shut) which has caused a few of the hooks to come off the track, this has been remedied. The shower curtain had a small amount of mould on the very bottom where the curtain touches the lining of the shower, which we have also remedied now. We have quality linen and provide a nice bach style bush haven for people to enjoy and are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay and in all honesty I do feel your review is a bit harsh. Great labour day weekend
Publié le 24 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe property owner was prompt in giving instructions and advice for our stay and was kind to give us courtesy to check out late without extra charge.
The house is completely set up for all your needs and reasonably well maintained considering the age of the house. Kitchen is complete with all appliances in very good working condition. Living rooms, dining and bedrooms/bathrooms are all clean and well set-up. Overall highly recommended, and will defo consider staying here again. =)
