Brilliant place to stay!
Publié le 2 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had such a fab time in Opunake especially thanks to Suzie and her awesome pad. The bach is trueoldschool Kiwiana and comfortably fit our two families of two adults and four kids. Great property for kids to play outside with plenty of space, safe bike storage and nice and warm in this colder weather.
Thank you for the milk and cookies that you left for us - what a treat.
We hope to be back and reccommend this place to all!

The Gem of Opunake, on King St.

Suited for purpose
Publié le 6 oct. 2022 sur HomeAwayAppreciated the host putting the heaters on for us and the milk and yummy biscuits. There was a good selection of movies for kids which was great as it was a wet weekend. Needs some tlc in places and wifi.

Great guests - Left everything clean and tidy :).
I agree, the house is over 100 years old, so is always going to need work - But we plan to pull it down and build new eventually, so won't be spending the big bucks on major items.
I think it's pretty good for it's age :).

Publié le 30 mai 2022 sur HomeAwayEverything there for family stay. House needs exterior wash but interior cosy with excellent furnishings and heating. Towel rail in bathroom was broken and bath/shower adequate but basic. Very handy to shops and cliff walkway.

Pleasant getaway

Publié le 5 avr. 2021 sur HomeAwayLoved our stay here. Perfect spot to cosy up after a busy day in the Naki. Kids loved all the board games. 2min walk to main street and 4squares. 3 blocks from beach. We will be back!! Ps thanks for the welcome beers and biscuits :-). Leatherby whanau.
