Nicely renovated older property

The Richardsons went above and beyond to make the stay a great time. was probably the best we have ever had while staying in Orange Beach. Very comfortable and cozy! Just like home!!!

Great location, lacking amenities
Publié le 7 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayFirst, the location right on the beach was fantastic and the place was clean. The owner did respond very promptly when we had questions.
My husband and I have stayed at many VRBOs and the owners have always had basic things such as a spice rack, tea bags, sugar, honey coffee, baggies and the little things that you tend to use daily. This place had none. The only thing was a salt and pepper shaker. Nothing else. There was no way we could cook without having to purchase a bunch of stuff that we would have then had to pack and that we already had at home.
There was a notebook full of restaurants from between 2011-2019. Very few were up to date. We got excited only to be let down because it was not helpful.
We basically felt like we were staying in a very expensive hotel room. In fact, the hotel next door was beautiful and much less expensive.
Again, the owner was great so if you want a bigger space and a great location, this is for you, but if you are looking for the extras, I'd look elsewhere.

I am so sorry that you felt there was nothing there. We leave non perishable items for your use. We leave no food items except coffee.
I take full responsibility for my cleaning team. I do not like to use food items left behind by another person, so we remove everything, after each stay.

This was our 3rd straight year to stay here, it's beginning to feel like home!!😎
