Everything with the hostel itself was fine but they charged me twice and I can't seem to get in contact with anyone.

Yes! Very cheap!Best price in the island! You got what you paid for, and CLEANING is what You do after your self...what you NEVER did. Yes you dirty out our place!However we have de luxe rooms with cashmere and silk sheets, all with pool view!So pay a bit more then you get more.with pool view

Palmita Hotel is a shelter and not a hotel at all. All costumers have to use 1 toilet and bathroom. The owner is fresh and greedy. At the end they’ll charge you a lot of extra expenses. Not recommended at all if you want to stay in a comfortable hotel.

Dear guest, thank you for posting this beautiful photos of the room we gave you! Now all other guest can see our pretty resort! Really thank you for that! Very kind of you!This room 396 usd per night!!! While you ONLY paid 18 usd for small hostel bed!Very sad you wrote this untrue information.We did not wanted you will damage our beds what is for 100 punds maximum..Your 550 punds definitely don't fit in bed if 90 cm.After your check out we really regreted we accomodate you! Not only very LOW PRICE you got, you took all stuff from this duperbde luxe ROOM..what is not yours!Now all hoteliers can see your name and will know what you did!Shame on you..for things you did, on Aruba you go to jail!Please don't book our beautiful place anymore, we have rapported misconduct to Hotels on line and Expedia and ofcourse the police. This will effect your next visit to Aruba.Just sad...

Do NOT book here. I booked a family room, which was supposed to have a double bed and 2bunks. They end up giving us a room with only one bunk bed for 3 of us. According to the owner Expedia didn't pay them so they rented our room out. According Expedia they did get paid and they won't even refund us a penny, not even for the part they over charged us. The owners solution was that we had to fly back another time to get a discounted stay of the books. Nothing in writing, I just had to take their words for it. The owner didn't offered us any compensation until we were about to load our luggage into our arrange taxi, that they were going to call their driver to come pick us up... Really? We needed to go to the airport already and expect us to wait. Sorry but not planning to miss my flight. Although the people who work there are extremely nice and helpful. The owners are horrible. I was traveling with a 5 year old and a senior. They were so uncomfortable the whole stay.

Good day and thanks for your review.You booked a reservation where we don't allow children! But we ware still so kind to help you!We offered you other room WHAT YOU ACCEPTED..WE still did not get paid for your reservation. So why you unfairly treated our employees?We offered you free night for next visit... offered you FREE airport transfer...Very dishonest what you did...But you put your name here.... So other hotels can reed how unkind and dishonest guest you are!We are NOT able to accomodate you for next visit because you wrote untrue information.Next time please book RITZ CARLTON for 250 usd per night in state of hostel for 25 USD, per night and still DARE to complain.Shame on you!

I personaly had a good stay at Palmita hostel with no problems. The hosts Barbara and Walter was very helpfull and respectfull to me. As long as you follow the hostel rules your fine! I broke a fork and compensated it and it worked well.
