The host lady was amazing. Super friendly and easy going. Her hospitality was very warm and made us feel welcomed. She’s the start of the hotel as she does everything by herself. Property has no parking. She kindly offered us to park in front of the property which has one of those u shape driveway. She says no one has car so we can park there. But then during the weekend 4 more car parked in front and behind us and we were looking for the owners to get out. Same problem when we came back to the hotel. The location is very convenient and it’s very easy to get around. Close the restaurants, downtown shopping area and easy access 10 min drive away from the famous hotels district where all the night life and nice restaurants are. If you are planning to rent a car and you’re in a budget, I would definitely recommend this hotel as we enjoyed our stay. If not planning to rent a car, I do not recommend it as it’s hard to get around the island although, they have an impressive transit system. Way better than any bus I’ve seen in Canada and US. If you want local food experience go to Don Jacinto and Peanuts restaurant. Very close to hotel. You got to try this Dutch coffee brand called Smit&Dorlas which is the best coffee I’ve ever tasted. I’m bringing 6 bags home lol.

I contacted the property for check-in instructions and received an automated reply. Arrived at the property and there was a phone number written on a piece of paper taped to the wall. Called and had to stand in the sun waiting for someone to arrive. The person who came did not speak English. She called her daughter to translate and her daughter was also not able to translate. When they opened the gate for us to enter, the property looked abandoned. No other guests visible. The restaurant was visibly unclean, even had wood lice running along the walls. The overall experience turned me off and I decided not to stay. Ending up booking another hotel on the spot. Do NOT recommend! And they won’t offer any refund. Unbelievable.

Me sentí muy cómoda durante mi estadía de una semana en Perle d'Or Apartments y segura de dejar mis pertentencias en la suite. El Apart está ubicado a 10min caminando del centro de Oranjestad, hay un supermercado muy cerca y restaurantes/bares también. Las habitaciones son modernas, amplias y confortables como se muestran en las fotos e incluso cuentan con aire acondicionado. Dejé una garantía en efectivo y me la devolvieron a mi salida cuando verificaron que todo estuviera ok. Tengo algunas sugerencias a mejorar: - Portería 24h o alguien disponible para acudir en caso de una emergencia, por ejemplo cuando alguien tiene un accidente o se olvida las llaves. - Mejor comunicación, no responden a los mensajes tan rápido y al ser extranjeros esto es importante porque no tenemos un número local. Agradecer a la sra. Irma por su gentil y bonita atención lo cuál influyó en mi decisión de permanecer más días aquí. Definitivamente volvería a reservar aquí si vuelvo a Aruba. Totalmente recomendado! Muchas gracias
