The Fig Tree Villa is situated in La Chismosa, an area close to Playa Flamenca and La Florida just south of Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca, Spain on a quiet private gated complex. The villa is part of a quad of houses but remains private and secluded. It has a private pool, two bedrooms, one on the ground floor with twin beds and a King size in the master bedroom upstairs. It has a spacious lounge which is open to the fully fitted kitchen at one end.The house is ideal for a relaxing holiday rental. It is not suitable for a noisy, lively stay and we therefore do not accept same sex young guests.We have a number of permenant residents on the complex and ask that you consider this whilst enjoying your stay.
We may be able to accommodate one or two additional children on request.
A separate dining room leads to the garden and has the stairs up to the second bedroom and en-suite plus the balcony/terrace.
. The first bedroom on the ground floor is off the Lounge and adjacent to the bathroom which is in a wet room style and has a shower, sink and WC but no bath.
The kitchen has all facilities including a microwave and a small dishwasher.The washing machine is situated seperately in the Utility Room. Drying is via a portable clothes airer.
As the Villa is situated on a gated complex car parking is on the adjacent street, moments away and plentiful.
This Villa is in an ideal location for rest and relaxation, but if lounging and dipping in the private pool is not your holiday thing there is still plenty for you to do. Jump in the car and find one of the many blue flag beaches along the Costa Blanca coast, the nearest is 5 minutes by car.
Play a round of golf on the Villa Martin course, also 5 minutes away by car, or maybe visit the bustling town of
Torrevieja.
The renown Zenia Boulevard with shops and restaurants and a huge Alcampo Supermarket is only 5 minutes by car.
Torrevieja town has plenty of shops, seafront bars and restaurants, a Marina and street markets where you are sure to find a bargain.
From Torrevieja you can take various boat trips which we can recommend, in fact the Villa has a large folder with all sorts of local information and recommendations from local restaurants to theme parks to coach trips to make your perfect rental holiday.
Airconditioning is available in both bedrooms and the lounge/kitchen area. This is via a coin meter ( to cover the electricity cost only at the rate we are charged )
The pool is not heated.
As we operate touristic accommodation we are required by Spanish law to supply the Guardia Civil with the personal data of each of our paying holiday rental guests over the age of 16 years within 24 hours after their arrival. To this end we will send you a link after booking confirmation to Check In Scan which allows a quick scan of ID documentation and guest signature.

Are there sunloungers?
Four are provided around the pool area although not shown in the pictures.
Can we walk to bars and restaurants?
5/10 minutes will find the The Banana Tree Thai, Concierto Cafeteria, Pablos International and Clarkes Bar and in the opposite direction Horatios Restaurant, Caferteria Las Chismosas and the Wan Yuan Chinese.
How far is Zenia Boulevard?
5 minutes by car or 15 minutes walking.
How far is the Playa Flamenca Saturday market?
Just beyond Clarkes Bar, a 6/7 minute walk.
How far is the nearest beach?
Cala Mosca is 8 mins by car or a 30 mins walk.
Local bus service?
The nearest stop is 2 mins walk and takes you close to the beach and has links to Torrevieja.
Taxi?
Plentiful, book able by phone and approx 8 Euro to Zenia Boulevard.
Airports?
Murcia is closest at 30 mins away. Alicante a little further at 45 mins.
Transfers available if required.
Cleaning fee / Damage deposit?
We do not charge a cleaning or linen fee. ( Bedding and house towels are provided )
We hope guests treat our house with respect and therefore do not ask for a damage deposit.
Airconditioning?
Three units. One in each bedroom and one in the Lounge. Operated independently via a coin meter which takes one and two Euro coins. Charged at the same rate we pay the provider it was installed to encourage sensible use. On average most guests use 6/8 Euro in a week.
Checking and Departure?
We ask that check in is after 3pm and departure by 10am.
We do however try to be flexible on timings when possible.
